"Get hold of it!"

"Shit! It's getting out!"

"Hold on! Hold on!"

"Ahhhh!"

"What kind of monster is that!?"

"It tore him apart!"

"Quickly! Get more restraints!"

"Why can't we just kill it?!"

"It his orders! Dammit! Our light weapons are useless! Hold on to it!"

Watching from behind the safety glass, the chubby fallen exorcist watched his creation with satisfaction.

Some of the Fallen and his exorcists might fall, but in the end, he will have his results.

"Even in such an early stage, It has such potential...." He bit his lower lip in excitement. "A simple human turned into this. I wonder what would happen if we used it on something more potent."

Down in the containment cell, five fallen soldiers and many more exorcists struggled to get a hold of something that was once a simple civilian—a mere human without any particular skill, heritage, or even meaning. One of the many they kidnapped so that he could conduct his twisted experiments.

"It is a grotesque child. But no matter, once I reach a satisfactory result, I will make sure to care about the visuals."

The restrained creature struggled, its lower body thin and shaky but still standing firm. Its upper body grotesquely inflated with muscles. One hand thicker than the other, back crooked and hunched. It was gnawing on the restraints with its sharp needle-like teeth to tear them apart.

"Ashen failure? Should I call them that? Or a twilight abomination?" Indeed, with the skin that unnaturally turned ashen colouration, the veins that glowed with twilight essence, those names that came to his mind. Their mutated, asymmetrical appearance made them fitting of such terms. Oh! And those endless abyss black eyes, with golden divinity flickering in them like some wild firefly, it all just made this being even more terrifying!

"Shit! It got out! It got out!" Suddenly, the raging creature broke free and turned towards the reinforced wall — which hid the twisted exorcist. The being wasted no time tearing its bindings, sprouting grotesque, torn wings that looked like some ethereal rags filled with horrifying eyes and faces.

"Gleaaaahhh!"

Its soul-tearing screech forced all the guards nearby to grab their heads and scream in agony, collapsing before they were brutally torn apart.

"My, my..."

The creature jumped towards the hidden observation booth, almost like it knew who hid there. The man who did this to them! A hateful person! It wanted to tear him apart at all costs!

"Aii!" Unlike Valper, the Fallen lady who stood on the crazy researcher's side, jumped back, instinctively conjuring her light weapons.

"Crafty little dear...." Before the abomination could reach and tear through the reinforced alloys and the magical membrane, guns fueled with magic and technology sprouted from the walls, and aimed.

"Gleaaaahhh!"

Even this horror couldn't resist for long against their overwhelming power and calibre! Installed directly to ward off such escape attempts, they repelled and pummelled the creature for several long seconds.

"Gaah... gahh... kill me..."

The monstrosity gurgled in pain in a distorted tone, tears pouring from its dark sockets, nailed to the ground. It seems some humanity still lingered in its broken form. Their body was mangled, but they started to recover bit by bit. Missing parts growing back, holes slowly closing on its body, joints and bones cracking in churning sounds joined again.
