A/N: This will be done in the POV of Akashi's father. Since Idrk his name I'll just note it here. LOL XD

It was during a fateful stormy night when I had first met her. When I had first laid my eyes on those unnerving gray of hers that reminded me of him.

And I have to say, it was also then when I once again felt an emotion that I thought I would never feel again.

Fear.
------

There was something about her, something about her eyes that made me feel nervous and intimidated but at the same time fascinated by the way she looked ordinary yet every pore of her body seemed to scream otherwise.

She was a mysterious being that had a cloud of elegance and power circling around her even without her implying it.

"Father." My son greeted me with a hint of surprise, obviously not expecting me to be home, as he stood up from his end of the table and gave me respectful bow while I responded with a curt nod.

She stared at me, her storm gray eyes calculating, before she stood from her seat and curtsied which I had initially found odd. Like before, I simply gave her a curt nod as well.

"So who's our lovely guest?" I asked my son, Seijuro, as I took my seat. My eyes glued to the young lady that sat beside him.

Silence.

"Was he nervous? How odd." I thought as I shifted my gaze towards my boy only to find myself taken aback.

He was looking at her with an unreadable look in his eyes that only raised my interest at the young woman more. Who was she? Was she someone he had taken an interest in? Was she his girlfriend? A lover perhaps?

Finally, the silence was broken. Not by my son but by our guest. She looked at my son squarely in the eyes and whispered something to him which made furrow his brows. Clearly, whatever she had suggested, if that was even possible with him, was something he did not agree with while she kept whispering something to him, to probably make him see her point.

After a while, he sighed in defeat as he waved his hand, motioning for her to do whatever it was that she had wanted.

"Impressive." I thought as I watched the young lady rise from her seat and make her way towards me in a swift and fluid motion while Seijuro simply followed her while running a hand through his short hair.

"I apologize for the late introduction, Akashi-san." she said politely with a slight bow as soon as she had arrived at my side. "My name is (First name) Rivalle. I'm one of your son's friends at school." she added with an innocent smile on her face, her hands folded in front of her like one of those Aristocrats from the west.

'Rivalle? Why does that name sound familiar?' I wondered but shook it off before I could even ponder more into it.

"A pleasure to meet you." I replied as I stood and shook her hand. She had a gentle yet firm grip like she was one of those businessmen that I've always encountered.

"The pleasure is all mine." she said before gesturing towards my son. "I am Seijuro's Secretary as well as his Vice President in our school's student council." she said as she gaze at my son with a mischievous look at his face and a smirk forming on her naturally pale face which made me raise an eyebrow at my son who simply shrugged nonchalantly.

"I hope he isn't causing you any trouble." I told her in a businesslike tone.

"He's hardly a trouble at all." she replied in the same tone as I did. Her gray eyes twinkling with mischief as it settled on my son while he, in turn, glared at her. "Always so serious in everything he does. Even when playing basketball. Makes me wonder if he knows the definition of fun." she added with a laugh as my son simply glared at her as a warning.

In truth, I was both amazed and angered by her actions. Indirect as it was, her message got through. Loud and clear. She was telling me to take it easy on my son. Making me wonder just how much does she know about how I treat my son.

Silence filled the room as she smile at me innocently as if she hadn't said anything that I should take offense of. Not that I did. Ok maybe I was a little bit offended. But then again, there was nothing wrong with what she was trying ro says.

Tension hanged in the air as both of us refused to speak. She has guts, I'll give her that. Not to mention the finesse of how she got her message through without an argument was worthy of respect. Just who was she?

Being uncomfortable with the silence, I decided to ask her of her parentage which seemed to have surprised her at first but shrugged it off after a few seconds as if she was baffled as to why I asked a stupid question which made me want to throw the brat out if it wasn't raining cats and dogs outside.

"My mother is Professor Hanji Zoe, your company's top researcher." She said with a smile that was starting to annoy me. "Rest assure, Akashi-san. My mother doesn't speak much of work at home." she added before I could even say or ask anything.

She was spot on, however. I was about to ask her if her mother ever mentioned anything about her job at out company. Despite her actions, she was and still is an interesting young lady.

"And what of your father? What is his line of work?" I asked her as I looked at her squarely in those storm gray eyes of hers.

She smiled, an eerie kind of smile that oddly made me feel nervous, before opening her lips to answer.

"Levi Rivalle." she answered sweetly, resting her hands in front of her.

My blood went cold as soon as the name left her lips. No wonder her eyes made me feel slightly uncomfortable when I had looked directly at them and that surname sounded so familiar. She was his daughter. Why didn't I realize it sooner? She was the daughter of a very dangerous man. At least in my books he was.

He was after all, he was the only one who had managed to beat me at anything. And if she was his daughter then that meant she was also a danger to the Akashi name.

Her eyes glistened with mischief as she looked at me with those unnerving stormy gray orbs of hers like she could read everything that was running through my mind. No, she wasn't as dangerous as her father. She was far more dangerous than he was.

And if she was as skilled as her father and as bright as her mother then-

"Excuse me, sir. There's a phone call waiting for you in your study." One of the maids said as she entered the room with a bow.

"Ah, yes. I'll be there." I told her before turning to the children before me. "I should excuse myself then." I told them before making my way through the door, glad that I would be able to leave the room as soon as possible.

"By the way, Father." My son started to speak, making me curse in my mind.

"What is it, Seijuro?" I asked him in annoyance while feeling her eyes on me.

"She'll be staying here for the night. We'll be working on some council work until tomorrow or until the storm settles down." He said, specifying the reasons as well.

"I see. Enjoy your stay then." I said giving her a quick nod before leaving the room.

Once I was alone with my thoughts as I made my way towards my study, I let out a heavy sigh that I wasn't aware I was holding in as I recalled our earlier conversation.

She was his daughter. Their daughter. Two of the country's most recognized figures in terms of Military and Science. Having her around my son was like a double edged sword. She could either improve or jeopardize everything that I had worked for.

I have to get rid of her.

-----

And I did. Unfortunate as it was to have my son involved in that accident, it was the perfect opportunity for me to get rid of her once and for all.

Or so I thought.
