[Two weeks had passed and neither John Smith nor Pocahontas had met up. Both of them thought and wanted to see each other again, but they didn't, they held back their desire to find one another]
{At the camp in the afternoon}
[The settlers were putting up the fence and Thomas saw that John Smith was looking sad. When he confronted him about it, he just dismissed the subject. When no one was looking, John Smith sneaks out to find Pocahontas]
{With John Smith}
John Smith: Let's see, she went that way on her canoe. Maybe if I go the same way, I can find her village, which means I'll be able to find Pocahontas
[He goes inside the river and starts swimming until he gets to the other side. He keeps on walking north and hopes that he'll find her or her village]
{With Pocahontas}
[Nakoma and Pocahontas were plucking ears of corn and putting them into baskets for when the warriors arrived. Pocahontas' father tells her that they shouldn't be alone and that he would send for Kokoum. He leaves and then Pocahontas sighs]
Nakoma: What's wrong?
Pocahontas: Nothing's wrong
Nakoma: Don't lie to me, you can't, we've been best friends since we were little girls, and you're keeping something from me
Pocahontas: No, I'm not
Nakoma: I won't tell anyone-
(Just then John Smith comes out from the field of corn ears making Nakoma gasp)
Nakoma: Pocahontas, watch out, it's a settler, I'm-
(Pocahontas covers her mouth)
Pocahontas: Why are you here?
John Smith: I needed to see you again
Nakoma: Wha?
(Pocahontas blushes and smiles then she hears Kokoum calling her)
Nakoma: Uh-oh
Pocahontas: Nakoma, please, keep the secret, let's go
(She takes his hand and they sneak away)
Kokum: Nakoma, I thought Pocahontas was with you
Nakoma: Umm, no, I haven't spotted her
(Kokum sighs)
Kokoum: You're a horrible liar, look, it's not safe out there, remind her, she'll take notice of your words
(He leaves)
Nakoma: Yeah right, not likely
(She leaves)
{With Pocahontas and John Smith}
Pocahontas: Are you crazy? Somebody else from my village could have seen, captured, and killed you
John Smith: It was a risk I was willing to take, I needed to see you again, Pocahontas, these two weeks have been unbearable without getting a glimpse of you or talking to you
(Pocahontas blushes)
Pocahontas: I feel the same way, I wanted to see you too. Come with me, I want to take you somewhere
John Smith: I'll follow you wherever you want me to
(They get into her canoe with her in the front and him in the back)
John Smith: Was that your sister?
Pocahontas: She's like my sister, she's my best friend, her name is Nakoma. Do you have any siblings?
John Smith: No, I was an only child
Pocahontas: Was?
John Smith: Yeah, um, my parents died a few years ago
Pocahontas: I'm so sorry, you must miss them
John Smith: I do, my mother was the best
Pocahontas: And your father?
John Smith: I won't deny that he was a great father, that he taught me a lot, and I loved him too, but he had the same thoughts that I used to have when it came to the Natives
Pocahontas: I'm sure that on his way to the heavens, he changed his thoughts as you have
John Smith: I hope so too
Pocahontas: Do you have any friends?
John Smith: I do, I have a small group of best friends, in the world where I am from, and one of my men has become one of my best friends too, his name is Thomas, but my absolute best friend is a man named Eric. He's a prince from a kingdom called Seahaven in Italy. It's a country in the other world
Pocahontas: Is it pretty?
John Smith: It's beautiful, you'd love it
Pocahontas: I'd like to see it too
John Smith: Hopefully one day you do, it's totally worth it, I haven't been there in a while, but I'm sure not much has changed since the last time I visited
Pocahontas: Meeko, Flit, and Nakoma are really the only best friends I've ever had. Well, them and you
John Smith: I appreciate it that, Pocahontas, I consider you one of my best friends too
Pocahontas: I'm glad to hear that, ok, here comes a waterfall, it gets kind of crazy here
John Smith: Bring it
(He takes the other paddle and helps her along as they go down the waterfall and the river)
{With Grandmother Willow}
[Pocahontas says goodbye to Grandmother Willow and makes her way back to her village. Over there, she finds out that the warriors had arrived and were ready for war. She didn't want any battle to be fought and desperately asked her father that if one of the settlers wanted to talk that he would listen, and he agreed that he would, but also said that things weren't simple anymore]
{At the camp}
(John Smith stormed away and went into his tent while slamming the front of it)
Radcliffe: Everyone else, get ready
(Everyone else walked away but kept what John Smith said in their minds)
<at night>
[Pocahontas was sneaking out and Nakoma had caught her. She asked her not to go but Pocahontas assured her that she was trying to help her people and asked Nakoma to trust her then she ran out. John Smith blew out his candle and sneaked out but Thomas noticed him. Some men had doubts about Radcliffe, the natives, the gold, and about staying. Thomas followed John Smith up to the gate but Radcliffe saw both of them and pushed Thomas out. He ordered him to follow him and tossed him a musket then he went back to his tent, Thomas didn't want to use it but knew he had to follow orders, so he followed John Smith. Nakoma feared the decisions that Pocahontas was making, so she went to Kocoum for help, and he went to find Pocahontas]
{With Grandmother Willow}
{In the village}
[They arrest John Smith and declare that he would die at dawn. Pocahontas tried to reason with her father, but he refused to listen to her, he told her that she had shamed him, and then he walked away. Nakoma confessed to her that she had sent Kocoum to help her thinking she was doing the right thing. By then everyone had walked away]
Pocahontas: This is all my fault and now I will never see John Smith again
Nakoma: You love that man, don't you?
Pocahontas: Don't judge me, Nakoma, not you
Nakoma: I'd never do that, Poca, you're my best friend. I know that we don't choose who our heart decides to love, much as we would like to, come with me
(She takes her hand and leads her to where they were keeping John Smith)
{Outside the tent}
[Pocahontas went to Grandmother Willow and Thomas had gone back to the camp to get help. Everyone at the camp got ready for war, the tribe cremated Kocoum and too got ready for a war, which would come at dawn]
