Pocahontas: A New World Love Story

Chapter 1

[Pocahontas was the daughter of Chief Powhatan and his wife, she was their only daughter, and the princess of the tribe. The Powhatan tribe was one of the tribes of the Algonquian tribes. Pocahontas' best friend was Nakoma, another young girl from the same tribe, and they always did everything together. When she was a little girl, her mother died leaving Powhatan to raise Pocahontas by himself. She grew up to be a free-spirited kind of girl, she was peaceful, playful, wise, brave, outspoken, open-minded, and adventurous. When she was sixteen, she got a tattoo on her arm to express her royal status in the tribe]

[John Smith was born an only child into a farming family in Willoughby, England. He had a good education and learned from his parents how to farm, plow, and cook. He had a group of friends and those were Prince Phillip from a kingdom called Windhaven in France, Prince Henri from a kingdom called Autumnhaven in France too, Prince Ferdinand from a kingdom called Doveberg in Germany, a young boy from China named Shang Li, who was a Chinese soldier's son, but his best friend was Prince Eric from the kingdom of Seahaven in Italy. John Smith worked at the docks from the age of thirteen when he was done with his chores at his house. He learned everything about ships but he yearned for adventure. He enlisted as a soldier at sixteen years old and helped France fight the Spanish, he had more battles in Europe and battles in the Mediterranean, but when he was eighteen his parents died, so he returned to bury them. She was already seventeen years old and her father had gone off to war against another tribe. Six months passed and she turned eighteen years old. She had begun dreaming about a spinning arrow but she didn't know what it mean, so she told Nakoma. However, she too didn't know what it could mean. John Smith was now twenty-one years old and had just returned to London, England]

[John Smith was ready for a new adventure and throughout the weeks, he and Thomas became best friends and got to know each other very well. A month passed and the crew wandered into a horrendous storm]
