Chapter 9

(The next day, Pocahontas and John Smith woke up comfortably in each other's arms)
{In the captain's quarters}
Pocahontas: Mmm
John Smith: Morning, beautiful
Pocahontas: Good morning, how did you sleep?
John Smith: Best sleep I've gotten in a long time
(He kissed her head and Pocahontas buried her face in the crook of his neck)
John Smith: We need to get up, it's late, it's six, we overslept
Pocahontas: Mmm, no, five more minutes
John Smith: C'mon sleepy head, I think we're about to arrive
Pocahontas: Alright
(They get up and start getting ready)
<after a small while>
(They go on deck)
Crew Member #3: Land Ho!
John Smith: We're here
Pocahontas: Wow, it's beautiful
John Smith: I knew you'd like it
[The ships dock just in front of the palace and in a few minutes, everyone gets off. Eric and Ariel receive John Smith and Pocahontas]
John Smith: My love, meet my best friend, Eric, and his betrothed, Princess Ariel
Pocahontas: It's a pleasure to meet you both
Eric: The pleasure is ours, Princess Pocahontas
Ariel: It's very nice to meet you, Princess Pocahontas, we've heard a lot about you
Eric: John never stopped thinking or talking about you the whole time he was here
(John Smith chuckles nervously, Pocahontas blushes, and she holds his hand intertwining their fingers)
Ariel: Princess Pocahontas, would you like a tour of the kingdom while John and Eric hang out?
Pocahontas: Sure, Princess Ariel
Ariel: Oh just call me Ariel
Pocahontas: Alright, deal, but only if you call me Pocahontas
Ariel: Let's do it
(They laugh and leave together with the animals following them)
Eric: I think they're on their way to becoming great friends
John Smith: I know right
(They go into the palace while the girls get inside the carriage and go off to town)
<after an hour and a half>
(The girls go back to the palace)
{Inside the palace}
(Ariel gives a palace tour to Pocahontas as well)
<after another half hour>
{By the staircase}
Pocahontas: Your kingdom is beautiful and you have a wonderful home
Eric: Thank you
John Smith: Darling, Eric was just telling me that Ariel and he would be attending his cousin's welcoming home ball in the kingdom of Corona, Germany. A guard from Corona just left an invitation for you and me as well. Do you want to go?
Ariel: Oh please come, it's going to be so much fun, and I can't wait to introduce you to my best friend, Belle, and our other best friends
Pocahontas: Well, why not, sure, we'll go
Ariel: Yeayy, we're going to have so much fun
Pocahontas: The only problem is that the only ball dress that I had isn't exactly party ready
Ariel: Oh don't worry about that, we can fix it, you'll see, let's go
[They go find Carlotta and the men keep on talking about the ball. Throughout the day, Pocahontas and Ariel bond while fixing Pocahontas' ballgown with the help of Carlotta. Once it was done, Pocahontas and John Smith accompany Ariel and Eric to the marketplace, so they could buy a gift for Rapunzel's welcoming home royal ball. They ended up buying her a beautiful blonde little female kitten and afterwards, they got everything ready to take off for the kingdom of Corona. The group left after dinner and they arrived that following morning. They stopped so everyone could get something to eat and for the horses to get some rest. After two hours, they all continued on their way, and after another hour and a half, they arrived at a very nice inn. They ate some lunch and decided to take a few hours for a nap to get some rest after their long journey. They all woke up in time for dinner, they all go ready for the ball, and then they rode the carriage to the royal palace]
{In the royal palace}
[They were all introduced to the other royal couples and they all instantly became best friends. Eric was overjoyed to meet his cousin as was everyone else. Throughout the night, everyone danced and had plenty of fun. Everyone decided to stay another day so that they all could spend one last night together to bond, and enjoy each other's company. Not just that, but all of the animal companions of the group of couples became best friends with each other as well]
