The next morning
{With Grandmother Willow}
[Grandmother Willow reminded Pocahontas of her dream and Meeko gave Pocahontas John Smith's compass. She uses it and realizes that she was right along and that the arrow was pointing to John Smith from the very beginning. She starts to run to the village as quickly as possible]

[The Natives release John Smith and Pocahontas goes to him. John Smith wraps his arms around her and she returns his embrace]

(A medic who was also one of the settlers ran with Thomas to see John Smith)
{On top of the rock}
(They both kneel beside John and the medic lifts John Smith's shirt)
Medic: It's a deep wound, the most I can do is remove the bullet and clean the wound, but I don't have any of my medicines here. I only came to explore the land to see if it was a proper place for a new home for my wife and kids
Thomas: Do what you can
Pocahontas: Please, save him
Medic: We need to move him carefully back to camp, that's where my supplies are
(Lon and Ben come up as well while the others tie up Radcliffe and gag him)
Thomas: Be careful
(Between them all, they carry John Smith to the camp)
Chief Powhatan: He saved my life
Pocahontas: Thank the heavens
(She started to cry)
Nakoma: He'll be alright, they'll save him
Pocahontas: I need to go with him
Chief Powhatan: Go, my daughter
(Pocahontas runs after the men)
{With the others}
Pocahontas: Thomas, I'm going with all of you
Thomas: I think John would like that
Pocahontas: Will he be alright?
Thomas: I don't know
{At the camp}
[They went inside but stayed out of John Smith's tent. The medic disinfected his hands and his supplies. He then made an opening where the wound was making John Smith groan out, which made Pocahontas shed more tears. The medic found the bullet, took it out, stitched up the opening, and covered John Smith. He then came back out]
Pocahontas: Is he alright?
Medic: I took the bullet out, stitched his injury, and covered him up, but he needs antibiotics
Pocahontas: Can I see him?
Medic: I can't let anyone in right now, for his safety, ma'am he needs to rest, this was painful for him, I'm sorry, but he can't stay here
Pocahontas: I understand, but tell him that I'll come to see him
Medic: I will
(Pocahontas and the others leave)
<after a few hours>
[The settlers that were going back had gotten the ship mostly done and were getting ready to go back to England. When John asked for Pocahontas, the medic gave him her message]
{On the coast}
[The ship and some of the settlers were getting ready to go back to England. The Natives come and bring baskets of food for the settlers, which surprised them. Chief Powhatan thanked John Smith for saving him, covered him with his cape, and said that he was always welcomed among the tribe, which John Smith was thankful for. Meeko, Percy, and Flit gave Pocahontas her fixed necklace, and she put it on. John Smith said goodbye to all three of the little animals]

(She runs back down to her people)
{Back with the others}
Thomas: Thank you for the food
Chief Powhatan: You are welcome
Thomas: John didn't kill Kocoum, I did, your warrior was attacking my friend, and I was just trying to defend John. I never meant to kill him, merely graze him so he would leave John alone, if you have to punish someone, it needs to be me, sir. I need to be held accountable for my actions, John was just trying to protect me when he told me to flee. If I could take that moment back, I'd do it in a heartbeat
Chief Powhatan: I will not imprison you or kill you, young man, in your position, anyone of us would have done the same thing. Take the baskets of food
Thomas: Thank you, again
Chief Powhatan: Thank you for your honesty and willingness to do the right thing
(The tribe walked away while Nakoma put an arm around Pocahontas' shoulders as she cried and the settlers take the baskets of food left to them)
{With the tribe}
Nakoma: I know you're hurting but I'm here for you
Pocahontas: The right path isn't always the easiest one, but it still hurts.
Chief Powhatan: My daughter, I could see the way he looked at you and it is the same look that you give him. If you two are meant to be together then destiny will bring you both back together when the time is right
Pocahontas: I hope so, father, I love him
Chief Powhatan: I know, my daughter, I know
(They all keep going back to their village and their homes while the settlers go back to their camp)
