CHAPTER TWELVE ~ Mysterious

We won. We won a battle mostly fought by Zyler who I am now thankful that he became apart of our team. Our prize was unlimited access to the V.I.P. lounge which includes massage areas, gaming consoles, a theater, the gym and so much more we have yet to discover. Its teenage paradise.

As expected, Chloe and the others asked where we were and why were we late going to the willow tree so thinking ahead, I already thought of an excuse that tells I got an injury on my leg and Zyler helped me through it. I was thankful that they didnt arose any other suspicion to find some sort of proof on my flawless legs.

All of us decided to take a massage first and I agreed with full enthusiasm but Zyler said he didnt want to and that he'll just hit the gym. I was worried once again until he gave me a reassuring smile before taking off. I feel slightly better that instead of leaving like we were nothing like he use to do, he at least gave me something I can hold onto.

"What's up with him?" Juliet asks looking very concerned as we watched Zyler's image became smaller and smaller until he's gone. I have never seen anyone more worried than Juliet is being right now, like one wrong word from me, she'll dash off to comfort Zyler in every creative way she could think of.

I shrugged because in all honesty I don't know either why he's being this way since I thought we already sort his little problem. I said the most safest excuse I could think of, "He just wants to be alone." I said urging her in my mind to just go with it.

"Oh," Is all Juliet said. Then I saw that she's like an open book. Her emotions are right in there in the open so it was pretty easy to identify that she wants to go with him - not just for the drool-worthy show of Zyler lifting weights, but to maybe score some few points. Juliet seemed hesitant at first before making up her mind and saying hurriedly, "I'll just... Uhmm- I'll catch up with you guys!"

Before anyone of us could question why, Juliet already dashed off to the direction where Zyler just went. It doesn't take a genius to know where she's going so I let her be. Juliet knows what she's going into and sometimes a girl just need an asshole to see a real guy for her. Some lessons are just meant to be learned alone and if that meant letting Juliet have her heart broken then please Zyler, help yourself in stepping on it until a guy picks it up repairs it for Juliet.

I'm not jealous. I've already accepted the fact that Zyler belongs to someone else. It's just irking me that Juliet is actually willing to let herself burn. I mean Zyler doesn't even hide that he's an asshole! Everyone knew that he doesn't date, so why take the risk? Can a person really love someone just by there looks and what that person shows the world, not the real guy within? It's all very frustrating I don't even know why I'm doing this torture to myself.

Chloe linked her arm on mine and asked giving me a tired look, "Zyler?"

I nodded, "Zyler."

Me and Chloe went to the girls lounge and the boys went to there's. No one was here besides from the both of us. The whole room screams soothing relaxation. From the polished brown tiles to the aromatic scent of jasmine floating around the air produced by soft glowing candles was enough to relieve me of any stress this day brought. Their's a huge soft sofa in the center of the lockers. A huge mirror covered the whole left wing while at the right wing was the showers and some doors with a sign that says Authorized Personnel Only and Massage Rooms. What I like the most about this room though is a glass seperating a beautiful garden with koi fish swimming on a miniature pond decorated with different varieties of flowers. Their's also a granite dolphin pouring a thin line of water into the pond emitting a sound of soft ripples.

I took a white robe from a pile at the far corner and went to the bathroom.
