     ACT I                    CHAPTER 5
( make it look like a dream )

IT MUST'VE BEEN ATLEAST TWO HOURS SINCE JULIETTE HAD TAKEN HER ANGER OUT ON THE GAME MAKERS. She managed to drag herself out of the soft bedding and into the bathroom.

She stared at herself in the reflection, the splotchy red patches across her face, the dried mascara that dripped downwards and her curled blonde hair was scattered into random directions.

She groaned before she swiped her hand down her face, Juliette turned on the hot tap and washed off all of the makeup that was remaining on her face.

Before she did, Juliette took off the ridiculously long eyelashes on her eyes and placed them into the small bin next to the counters.

After she'd washed her face, Juliette got in the shower and washed her hair. When she had finished her shower Juliette changed into the plain purple t-shirt and jeans placed on her bedding.

Then she made her way into the living room for the tribute scores. The stares from the group who sat on the seating were only getting worse, "Are you alright," said one, "What happened?" Said another.

"Im fine. I just had a moment before." Juliette spoke for the first time in seven hours, she'd been asleep for half of the day anyways.

Finnick stared at the girl, flashes of concern passed in his emerald eyes but he didn't say anything.

All of a sudden the Capitol anthem blasted out of the tv speakers then appeared Caeser Flickerman, "Hello citizens of Panem!" He spoke in a happy tone, "We've just got the scores for this years tributes!"

"First up is District One we have Ivor Hade with a score of ten!" He cheered with excitement as he usually does with the career tributes.

Finnick rolled his eyes just as Juliette did, "Well thats no surprise, they always score high." Ophelia hit his arm with her magazine she was reading minutes before.

"The second tribute from District One, Amore Grange with a score of 10 as well." Caeser spoke with a certain glisten in his eyes, "Then we have District Two, Cardan Greene and Fallon Well both with a score of nine!"

"Then we have district three, Aspen Reid with a score of 8 and Darcy Slate with 7!" Caeser clapped along with probably the rest of Panem as he reached to grab the card that had in bold letters 'DISTRICT FOUR' the group in the living room stopped and waited with anticipation.
