"Sir, strangers come to the village!"
"Sky people?" Tonowari asked in a calm voice, but Reneera could see the restlessness in his eyes.
"Toruk Makto." That name was enough for Tonowari to turn back on the hunt. There are legends about Toruk Makto. The human became a Na'vi and saved Pandora from the Sky people. His story spread by word of mouth to all the tribes, so it reached us, beyond the sea. Because of this, everyone knew that Toruk Makto would only bring bloodshed behind him.
"Toruk Makto? That means...war is coming." Reneera was the eldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal, the future Tsahik. She was raised to be a fighter from a young age, which was not difficult. She inherited her mother's harsh temperament and her father's warm heart, which makes her a great future leader. Reneera was standing next to her father, both lost in the beauty of Awa'atlu, who knows how long it will last this paradise?
"We should go before Mom kills them." Suggested Reneera with a joyful voice. Tonowari allowed himself a small smile before directing everyone to their Skimwing, they headed home.
By the time they got there, the beach was lit up with curious eyes. Every pair of eyes watched the six Na'vi. They didn't look like the people from the Metkayina clan, their skin was dark blue, and their tails were thin, just like their arms.
They flew over them, straight into the water. Tonowari was the first to get off the Skimwing, and Reneera was right behind him.
She was beautiful just like Tsireya. At the front, her hair was braided in four strands that ran up to the middle of her head, the rest of her hair was untied and fell on her back and shoulders. Her curly dark brown hair formed waves down her back. The two farthest strands were connected by a small purple gem that fell on her forehead. Her eyes were emerald green, full of life.
By the time they reached the crowd, Tonowari stopped, to talk to Jake Sully and she went to find her brothers.
"Finally, Reneera! What took you so long? Look! Aren't they cute?" Tsireya nudged them. Reneera measured them all. Jake Sully was the father who sought refuge in the Metkayina clan for his family. Neytiri was the mother and like all mothers, she quickly lost her cool against Ronal. Tuktirey must have been the youngest because she was holding her mother's hand. The two Sully brothers, the youngest of whom had his eyes on Tsireya, and finally Kiri, the older sister, towards whom she had a good feeling.
"They are creeps! They have five fingers!" Aonung said in disgust. Beside him, Rotxo parroted his words "They are creeps". He then looked at Reneera approvingly, as if he expected her to approve. Her facial features did not move, Rotxo's words acted as background noise, they did not deserve attention.
"What do you think, Reneera?" Rotxo tried again but was quickly cut off by Tsireya.
"Look! The older boy has been staring at you ever since you arrived." Only then did she realize that Tsireya was right. Reneera caught the Sully boy's gaze. His eyes were yellow like the rising sun, contrasting with his dark blue skin. His body was well built, it looked like he was raised to be a warrior. The younger Sully boy standing next to him watched his brother with a grimace on his face. When his older brother smiled at Reneera, he poked him in the side, and the other one hissed.
Tsireya looked at Reneera with curious eyes.
"Boys." she rolled her eyes, as Tsireya laughed.
Tonowari words broke the events.
"My son Ao'nung and my daughters Reneera and Tsireya will show your children what to do."
"Father, why...?" Ao'nung tried to reproach but was cut off.
"It's decided!" Tonowari said in a noncontroversial tone.
"Come we will show you our village!" Before Reneera realized what was happening, Tsireya had already grabbed her arm, so there was no escape.
They helped the Sully family carry their belongings. On the way to their Marui, Tsireya and Reneera went ahead to show them the way. Behind them were the two Sully boys who were whispering about something.
"Hey! I'm Neteyam." She woke up with the older Sully brother next to her. Giggling, Tsireya quickly hurried forward.
Reneera looked at Neteyam, who greeted her with a kind smile.
"Fine." she looked into his eyes. Then she hurried forward to catch up with Tsireya.
"Hurry up, Natey-!" with a joyful smile she looked back at Neteyam.
"Neteyam." a mischievous smile appeared on his face.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and left him there.
Marui are pods built into huge mangrove-like trees along the coast. They offer protection from the wind and huge waves. They are similar to a beehive connected by many nests.
"This will be yours. Make yourself at home and we will help you with what we can." The two sisters welcomed them to their new home.
They weren't impressed with the place, especially Neytiri, but Reneera didn't blame them, because she wouldn't be happy either if she had to leave her home. They let them settle in and get used to the new conditions.
