The Sky People were looking for Jake Sully. They visited the neighboring villages but no one told them about Jake's location. Many villages were burned and one Ilu was even killed. With them was a child who could speak Na'vi.

Lo'ak came into close contact with the Payakan.

"If you want to know the truth about Payakan, come with me!" Reneera led the others to where Lo'ak usually met Payakan.

Reneera, Tsireya, Rotxo, Neteyam and Ao'nung watched from under the water what was happening between Lo'ak and Payakan.

Payakan and Lo'ak stood face to face under the water. Reneera started towards them but was pulled back by Neteyam. Tsireya took Neteyam's hand from Reneera's leg. Reneera left, leaving the others among the kelp.

She put her hand on Payakan's fin, suggesting that he could trust Lo'ak. Payakan opened his mouth until Lo'ak entered and then closed it again.

Neteyam among the kelp wanted to start towards them but was pulled back by Tsireya and Ao'nung.

Lo'ak saw what happened that day, how they were all killed by the Sky People, not only Tulkuni but also the Na'vi. Only Payakan survived and for the rest of his life he had to bear the death of his brothers and sisters himself.

Tonowari and Ronal found out about the bond between Lo'ak and the outcast Tulkun.

"You allowed this." Ronal entered the Marui. "You allowed him to bond with an outcast." Ronal shouted at Reneera.

"Reneera... You disappoint me, daughter." Tonowari took a step towards her. She lowered her ears.

"And you are a son of a great warrior. Who has been taught better." Jake and Neytiri were rushing towards Marui.

"Payakan saved my life sir. You don't know him." Lo'ak retorted, infuriating Tonowari even more.

"He's right." Reneera intervened. "He speaks the truth." Tonowari looked from Lo'ak to Reneera.

"Enough! That's why you will never be a good leader. You follow your heart. You will never be able to make good decisions." Tonowari pointed with his finger at Reneera's heart.

"Maybe you're right, father. But I'll never ignore the truth if it's right in front of me." Reneera raised her head and looked into Tonowari's eyes.

"Reneera!" her mother, Ronal yelled.

"Get out! Now!" Reneera left without looking back, leaving the others there.

The sun has already set, covering the entire sky with purple and pink colors. Reneera lay on the reef looking up at the sky as her father's words played over and over in her head.

"I'm not in mood for you, go away." Tsemlu sat next to her. Reneera told him without taking her eyes off the sky. Tsemlu didn't even seem to hear her.

"Did you hear, one of the Sully brothers bonded with an outcast? How can he be so stupid?" laughed Tsemlu.

"I know. I let him to do it." her voice was neutral, showing no emotion.

"What? How could you do something so stupid?" Reneera did not answer him. "I thought you were smarter."

"I thought you weren't a dick, but people make mistakes." She got up to leave, but Tsemlu grabbed her hand.

"You won't leave!" She looked at him with an you-are-stupid-I'm-doing-what-I-want expression.

"Let go of my hand!" Tsemlu squeezed her hand tighter.

"You won't go anywhere!" Reneera sighed. She was tired of everything, she just wanted to be alone. A shadow appeared next to Reneera and punched Tsemlu in the mouth, who backed away.

"Are you okay?" Neteyam analyzed Reneera's face.

"I could have done it alone." She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, which amused Neteyam.

"I know." He tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

"Oh, big brother!" Tsemlu noticed Neteyam's hand on Reneera's shoulders. "Get your hands off her!" he snarled.

"And if I don't?" He smirked.

"You will regret it!" Neteyam pushed Reneera aside in time, before Tsemlu's shot reached. The blow reached his stomach. Tsemlu jumped on him and pushed him onto the sand. Neteyam knocked Tsemlu off of him. It was his chance to punch him. Tsemlu was at a loss and took out his knife, putting it at Neteyam's neck.

"You lost." He said. Reneera kicked the knife off from Tsemlu's hand.

"Enough!" Tsemlu rose from Neteyam. He stood face to face with Reneera. "Leave, or everyone will find out what you did." Her voice was full of power, in her green eyes you saw only anger. Tsemlu did not move. "Do you want to test me?" She took a step forward. Tsemlu snarled, showing his teeth but left.

Reneera lifted Neteyam's head and put it in her lap.

"You're an awful fighter." She stated with a smile on her lip, while she wiped the blood from his lip.

"A thank you is enough." He smiled back.

"Skxawng!" She bent down and kissed him. His ears became pointed, his eyes widened.

They both melted into the kiss. As their lips touched, their bodies filled with heat. Butterflies fluttered in their stomachs. Neteyam closed his eyes, giving in to the feeling. His hand rest on Reneera's cheek, he was holding her hand with the other.

Reneera tried to take her mouth off Neteyam's lips but he pulled her back. She giggled as she kissed him again.

"You want too much." she said while Neteyam bit her lower lip.

"I want you." He took his mouth from her lips so he could look into her eyes.

Neteyam stood up and extended his hand to help her up. She grabbed his hand and Neteyam pulled her up in a hug. He put his hand on her heart.

"I see you, Reneera!" Neteyam closed his eyes, feeling only the fast beats of her heart.

They both stayed under the stars, leaving aside all their problems. It was two against the world. The ocean and the sky witnessed their pure love that from a spark became a flame. Only the stars saw their flushed cheeks, their smile full of love and the emotions in their eyes. It was a dream from which they would never wake up. But beautiful things last a little...
