The water was rough, waves crashed against the rocks. The sky was gray and it was crying. In the distance, a large group of birds circled over the ocean.

When Reneera woke up, she was covered in sweat, her hair was stuck to her forehead, her heart was beating fast. Every time she closed her eyes the lifeless body of a Tulkun appeared in front of her.

She ran straight to the ocean to clear her head, but as she touched the water she felt. The nightmare was real. She felt the pain of nature, which lost a child. She felt Tulkun's pain, its desire to survive and its inertia towards the Sky People. That day a mother died.

Reneera stood with her feet in the water and let her tears flow, the pain penetrated her body.

She went back to Marui, where Ronal prepared the breakfast. Reneera stopped in the doorway and looked at her mother.

"She died." seeing the red eyes of Reneera Ronal knew. She came out of Marui and looked into the distance where the cries of several Tulkunis were coming from.

The clan moved towards the lifeless body of Tulkun, who had her calf under her fin, which she tried to protect but in vain.

The other Tulkuns surrounded their bodies, which floated above the water.

Ronal recognized and swam towards her. She sat on her back and looked into her empty, lifeless eyes.

"Noooo!" Ronal cried out in pain.

"Her name is Ro'a." Tonowari said to Jake and Neytiri.

"She was my spirit sister. She was the composer of songs. Much revend, we would sing together. She waited many breeding cycles to have this calf. The clan was so happy for her." Her pain turned into despair. "What is this, Tonowari? What is this?!" In Tonowari a flame of pain combined with unbearable hatred ignited. He was angry at the one who killed the Tulkun, but especially at himself. Unable to do anything. Seeing Ronal so destroyed broke his heart.

To Neytiri, Ronal's pain was familiar. She knew that pain, despair and inability to do anything. Many years ago, she felt the same way and still does. A sister understands the pain of another.

They went back to the clan to inform the others about the tragedy.

"The spirit sister and her baby have been murdered by the sky people." shouted Ronal to the others.

"The war has come to us." Tonowari gestured agitatedly. "We knew about this hunting of our Tulkun people but it was over the horizon far away. Now it is here!" All the members of the clan were enraged ready to set off and kill all the sky people.

"You have to understand how the Sky People think. They don't care about the great balance."

"The Sky People are not gonna stop. This is only the beginning. You've got to tell your Tulkuns to leave!" Jake Sully stood in front and began to calm the others down.

"You're right. The Tulkuns are no longer safe here, and if we don't want any more deaths they have to go." Reneera stood out from the crowd.

"Leave?" Ronal intervened. Reneera nodded.

"But if we don't fight, our brothers and sisters will never be safe. The lives of our fallen Tulkun will be paid for with their blood." Reneera's voice was calm, only her eyes gleamed with lust for revenge.

"If you attack, if you fight. The they will destroy you. They will destroy everything that you love. Hear my words! Hear my words!" Nobody listened to Jake. In Neteyam's hand was a beacon taken from Tulkun's skin. He took it from Neteyam's hand and went to Tonowari raising the beacon in the air for everyone to see.
