Neteyam and Reneera raced underwater to prove which of them was faster. After a while, Neteyam was no longer behind Reneera. She couldn't find him anywhere under the water. She came out of the water with her upper body and noticed Neteyam on the shore, heading towards Ao'nung and his small group.
Reneera was also heading towards the shore as fast as she could.
Neteyam and Ao'nung stood face to face.
"From now on, I need you to respect my sister!" Neteyam said to all of them. One of the boys hissed, but Ao'nung stopped him. Kiri stuck out her tongue at them.
"Let's go!" Neteyam sent his two brothers ahead, he stayed behind.
"What happened, Kiri?" Reneera asked.
"Your brother and his friends are stupid." Kiri rolled her eyes.
"I know. Did they hurt you?" Reneera looked Kiri over, but she couldn't see any injuries.
"They called her a freak and they teased her." Neteyam interjected.
By the time Kiri, Neteyam and Reneera looked back, Lo'ak was lying in the water, one boy was pulling his tail and the other was hitting him in the face with his tail.
Neteyam looked at Reneera, who just rolled her eyes.
Neteyam slapped one in the face and kneed the other in the stomach. No doubt, the Sully kid fought just like his father.
"Stop!" Kiri tried to stop them.
"Let them have fun!" Reneera waved her off. The two girls stood in the sand and watched their brothers fighting. After a while, things started getting too aggressive. Neteyam's mouth was bleeding, Ao'nung got a nasty punch in the eye that left a mark, so she intervened.
"Enough!" She pushed Neteyam down from Ao'nung, and took down the other two boys from Lo'ak. Ao'nung and his friends lined up behind Reneera, badly humiliated. Neteyam stood up from the sand, wiping off the blood from the corner of his mouth.
Seeing this, Reneera swallowed hard, her ears flattened and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks and she looked away. Neteyam noticed and a soft smile appeared on his lips.
She turned back to the boys who were still sheltering behind her.
"Apologise!" None of them moved, they looked on with grim expressions. "Now!" Her voice was stronger. They didn't dare say any. They stepped forward and apologized to Kiri. Reneera and the others were about to leave when Lo'ak interrupted.
"And what about us?" She looked back with a confused look. Her eyes locked with Neteyam who agreed with Lo'ak's question. She looked over the two Sully boys.
"They look worse than you two." Reneera left them there and followed her brother home.
"Lo'ak, you should take an example from Neteyam's dating mod. Beat her brother and she'll definitely fall in love with you." Kiri hit Neteyam on the head. The Sully children followed Ao'nung and the others back to the Marui.
"Hey Reneera! Can we talk?" Tsemlu blocked Reneera's path. She motioned to Ao'nung to go on because everything would be fine.
"You have two minutes to say what you want." said Reneera with a cold voice.
"You've always been so fiery." Tsemlu stated with a smile on his face. She just rolled her eyes in response. Neteyam passed by them with Lo'ak and Kiri.
Lo'ak knocked Neteyam in the side to make him look, but he had already been watching them. Reneera saw Neteyam's gaze on her out of the corner of her eye.
