He reached out for Reneera to help her stand up, but she flinched away from his touch as if he burned her. Neteyam looked confused at her reaction but didn't say anything. She lightly blushed when she noticed Neteyam's body. He was taller and very fit. His biceps were noticeably bigger than before and his abs were just as perky. She stood up on shaky legs and brushed herself off, looking away from him.
He took a step forward and embraced her, holding her tightly to him and putting his hands around her waist, slightly easing her into a smoldering hug, her shyness melting away.
He leaned to her ear and whispered. "You won't get away from me that easy!" His voice was intense, almost a threat, but it was so romantic it made her heart beat faster. She buried her face into his chest, hearing his fast heartbeat.
"Your heart...is beating so fast." She said in a soft voice.
"You make my heart go crazy!" he said, rubbing his face on her neck and making her squeal in pleasure as he kept pressing his body against hers. Her breath caught in her throat as he grabbed her wrist with both hands and pulled her up against him.
In the distance, Lo'ak called out for them. Reneera held her breath as Neteyam bit her neck before he took his hands off her.
Then he started to walk away slowly, but he turned back at her. "You're beautiful." He said softly with a hint of admiration in his voice. He jumped at his banshee's back and flew away. Reneera pulled herself together and went to find Lo'ak between the trees.
"Where is Neteyam?" He asked furrowing his brows.
"He flew away." Reneera answered with a confused look on her face. Her heart was as heavy as a stone in her chest.
"Do you want to go after him?" Lo'ak asked with a worried look. She shook her head. Lo'ak grabbed her hand and pulled her at his banshee.
"Come, I will show you something amazing!" He said, tugging her forward. He helped her over his banshee.
They flew over the huge trees, and rocks till they reach a huge cliff from where a waterfall was flowing. Reneera looked around and couldn't believe the view.
They landed on the cliff, where Neteyam together with the others was jumping from the waterfall. The sound of their shouts and laughter was echoing in the water, which made Reneera unwillingly smile.
"Lo'ak, finally!" A voice was shouting from the group. "Who did you bring with you? She's hot!" Some boys stood up and walked toward Reneera and Lo'ak. They measured her up from head to toe, holding their eyes on her. Neteyam watched them from a distance with a straight face. A boy put his hand around Reneera's shoulder and pushed her forward.
"Let see how brave is this little girl!" He said as he pushed her to the edge of the cliffs. "Jump!" He demanded. Reneera's gaze fell on Neteyam whose eyes hid a sparkle of curiosity. Lo'ak tried to reach for Reneera but he was stopped by the others.
"Neteyam! You can't let it happen!" Lo'ak called out for his brother with desperation in his eyes. Neteyam didn't move, he just stared at Reneera without looking away even for a second. She turned around and jumped off the cliff.
Everyone rushed to the edge to see if she survived the fall. Water splashing was heard as she landed in the water. Everyone's eyes stayed on her for a moment till she floated to the surface. The others cheered for her and jumped down from the cliff to catch up with her. The two siblings were the only ones left standing on the cliffs. They shouted at each other and wildly gesticulated.
"Come on! Don't be a pussy!" A boy shouted to them from the water. Lo'ak pushed Neteyam away and jumped off, and Neteyam followed him.
The sun began to settle at the horizon, and the sky turned colorful. They sat down on the waterside rocks around a campfire and shared stories from their journey. They laughed and told jokes and made each other laugh. Reneera stayed silent, she listened to their talks. Neteyam kept staring at her pretty features that glistened in the light of the fire. Reneera had a soft smile on her lips and she noticed how Neteyam stared at her with such lust in his eyes.
"Let's play something!" One of the boys said. "Truth or dare!" Another boy said.
"I want to start!" Yelled one of the boys. He cleared his throat. "Reneera, truth or dare?" She gave a hesitant smile and chose truth. "Is it true that you have feelings for Lo'ak?" He asked excitedly. She raised her eyebrow as she was thinking about it.
"No." She said after a pause. Everyone sighed in relief. The boy turned to Neteyam.
"Truth or dare?" He said with a smirk. Neteyam tilted his head to the side and glanced at Reneera.
"Dare!" He answered without hesitation. The boy scratched the back of his head, he had to find something spicy to dare him. "I dare you to kiss Reneera passionately!" Everyone went silent. Neteyam stood up and went to Reneera. He kneeled next to her and grabbed her chin. He pulled her closer to him and pulled her lips into his. She struggled a little bit, she tried to pull back, but it didn't matter, the way he wanted it, how he demanded it, she couldn't resist.
Neteyam's hand went behind her back and wrapped around her waist. His fingers went down and caressed the surface of her flesh. His mouth twisted with desire, his eyes closed, his hand gripping her waist as he rested his head on her cheek. Neteyam's tongue dived into Reneera's mouth, and her eyes shut as he started sucking on her tongue.
Everything lasted a few seconds before he pulled his lips away. Reneera felt weak and vulnerable, her heartbeat stuttered through her veins and she felt out of breath. She stood up and rushed into the forest to calm down and collect her thoughts. She leaned with her back against a tree. Neteyam's voice called out for her in the dark, but she didn't respond.
Leaf cracking was heard behind the tree where Reneera was standing. She turned to see whoever it was, but there was not a single soul. When she turned back, she saw a glowing pair of eyes watching her from the darkness. She froze in horror because the glow seemed to grow stronger. When it was close enough to her, she sigh in relief, it was only Neteyam.
"I was looking for you!" He stepped forward, reducing the space between them to a single distance. His eyes glowed with lust. Reneera tried to push his body away, but he wouldn't budge.
"Let me go!" she cried. Neteyam grabbed her hand and pushed it to the tree's trunk.
"I can't!" he whispered to her in that deep, powerful voice. "Since when we left, you were my only thought, the first in the morning, the last in the evening and all of the day. You draw me crazy, Reneera!" He paused taking a deep breath. "When I close my eyes, I see your smile and your eyes. Your giggling is echoing in my head as a song." Reneera felt his breath on her neck. "I tried to forget you, but you came back like an old story over and over again and I couldn't help but think of you all the time, and sometimes not in a decent way." He smirked. Reneera's heart raced under his touch. She grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him into a kiss. Her fingers brushed through his hair, making him moan and groan under her touch. He wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her towards him, his lips pressing against hers hungrier. Her eyes grew bright with desire as his strength overwhelmed her. His tongue searched hers, caressing her neck and twisting around it as his breath grew warm and stronger.
"We need to stop!" He sighed heavily and tried to push himself off her body. Reneera held him tightly in her arms and didn't let him go. "I don't want to do this without you being my mate." He continued. Reneera sighed and let him pull away.
"I already have a mate at home." She giggled. Neteyam looked at her with a shocked expression. "Skxawng! I don't!" She joyfully hit Neteyam's shoulder. Both of them burst out laughing.
"Screw you!" Neteyam went on to reach her waist.
"Really?" She teased him. He leaned towards her again. "I think we shouldn't wait any longer with it." She whispered into his ear. Neteyam smirked at her, he reached for her hand and pulled her deep into the forest.
