"Has anyone questioned you yet?" Billy asks, as me and Stu sit down. "No, I think they're doing it after lunch." I shrug. "Oh." Billy nods.
"I miss Tatum." Sidney sighs. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Let's go talk, yeah?" I stand up. She nods, following my actions.
"You ok?" I ask Sidney as we get to a private place. "Yeah, just im nervous, and i miss her." She says, looking at me. "Yeah, but you didn't do anything, so don't be scared." I reassure her, and she thanks me. We both walk back over to the group, where Randy and Stu are arguing.
"Will you two ever shut the fuck up?" Michael groans, as Billy agrees. Sidney sits back down next to him, as Stu pulls me down on his lap.
Suddenly, principal Himbry walks over to us. "The police are questioning everyone today and tomorrow." He says. "We know." Stu says back. "I'm giving a heads up. Don't give me that attitude, boy." He points a finger at him. "What attitude, principal?" I stick up for Stu.
"Off of his lap." He says, walking away. "Asshole." Billy rolls his eyes. "Yeah." I nod. "How long is left of lun-" Michael gets cut off by the bell. "I'll see you later. I have physics." He leans down and kisses me.
We walk separate ways, and a teacher walks out, stopping me. "Annabelle, it's your turn. Please head over to the office." She says. I nod, and take a deep breath.
'Why am I so nervous? I haven't done anything.'
I knock on the door, and get told to come in. There, I see sheriff Burke and Dewey. "Hi." I give him a small smile, and sit down.
"Where were you on the night Tatum was killed, Annabelle?" Burke asks. "I was with Stu, at his house." I answer. "Did Stu leave at anytime the night Tatum was killed?" He asks. I shake my head. "No, he was with me the whole night. I stayed there." I answer. "And, uh we're you close with Tatum?" He looks at me. "Kinda." I shrug. "Thank you for your time, Annabelle." Burke says, as I get up off the chair.
Principal Himbry gives me a piece of paper that says it's Stu's turn. "Take that to Mr. Macher." He says. "I'm not in his class right now." I say. "Go take it to him." He shrugs.
I walk out, and begin to walk to where Stu's class is. I knock on the door, and the teacher opens it. Stu looks at me and smiles, and I smile back. "Mr. Macher, it appears to be your turn for questioning." She says.
Stu gets up, and walks out. He throws his arm around my shoulders, and smiles. "What did they ask you?" He looks at me. "Asked me where I was, if I was close with Tatum, and who I was with." I shrug.

Stu's pov:
I walk into the office, a bit nervous. I sit down, and look at sheriff Burke. "How are you, Stuart?" Burke asks me. "I'm good. Upset about Tate, but uh, yeah." I lie. Was I hell upset.
"Where were you on the night Tatum was found, Stuart?" Burke stares at me. "I was at my house, with Annabelle." I tell him. That was the truth. "And at any point did you or Annabelle leave your house?" He asks. I shake my head. Also the truth. "And were you close with Tatum?" I take a glance at Dewey. He's just looking at me. He hasn't said a word since I got in here. "Yes, sheriff. She was my girlfriend." I pretend to be sad.
"Thank you, Stuart." He says, as I get handed a piece of paper that says it's Randy's turn. "Take that to Randy." Principal Himbry says.
