Sirens wail, as I look out of the window of the old lady's house, two police cars pull up, and four cops get out of the car.

I thank the lady, and run out of the house, seeing Dewey Riley. I quickly run up to him, and he smiles at me.

"Hey, Dewey. Sorry about Tatum." I place my hand on his shoulder. "Uh, yeah." He says awkwardly, giving me a slight smile. I take that as a hint not to say anymore, as the cops go inside, while Dewey stays outside with me.

"So, what happened?" He turns and asks me. "I got a call, and it was this weird guy, asking me questions. I mean, he's called me before, but never went as far as breaking in, threatening me, all that stuff, but like he told me to look outside, and my ex boyfriend, Jason was there, tied to a chair, duck tape over his mouth. I ran upstairs, hid under the bed, the guy came in, and tried attacking me." I explain.

He places his hand on my shoulder, giving me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry, Annie." He says to me. "I'm just scared, you know?" I say. He just nods.

-

After a while, cops come out of the house, with absolutely no one. "We need to call paramedics, dead body out back." One of them says to Dewey. "Stay here, we're gonna call for paramedics." Dewey runs to his car.

I just stand there, staring at my house. I'm still scared. I know he's still there.

-

Paramedics pull up, and run out back, to obviously grab Jason. "We're gonna be out here, just incase something happens, ok? We're staying the rest of the day, and all night." Dewey explains.

"Thanks Dewey." I smile. "Of course." He gives a small smile back to me.

"Dewey?" I look to him once again. "Yeah?" He looks to me again. "Can I have friends over?" I ask. "Why are you asking me? I'm not your mom." He chuckles. "I know but still, just incase." I shrug. "Where is your mom anyway?" He asks.

"Dads out of town for work, and mom is out with my aunt." I say, as the paramedics come out of the garden, Jason's covered body on a stretcher. I start to tear up. Yeah, he's my ex, but we were still friends.

"Just, I'll call your mom or dad, and let them know what just happened, and then we'll try and get someone over here to actually be in the house with you." He tells me. I nod.

Dewey once again, walks to his car grabbing a phone. He already has my moms number in his phone, as my parents are close with Dewey's.

After five minutes, he finally gets off the phone with my mom. "She's scared." He chuckles. "I imagine." I smile.

"Stu should be back soon, so.." I trail off. "Are you gonna be ok going back inside?" He asks me. "Yes, Dewey. I'll be fine." I smile. "Ok, we'll be out here. Remember." He turns around, walking back to his car for the last time.

-

I'm in the living room, watching tv to try and distract me, but it's not working. suddenly, the front door open, making me snap my head towards it.

"There's cops out front." Stu tells me, setting down his stuff. "Yeah. I know." I say, jumping up off the couch, and running over to Stu, hugging him. "Woah, what's this?" He chuckles, while wrapping his arms around me.

"Some guy tried attacking me. They killed Jason out back, Stu. Im scared. That's why the cops are outside." I say, my eyes staring to water. "Hey, it's ok. I'm here. Don't worry. Billy and Sidney are coming over later, and Randy and Michael shouldn't be long. It's ok." He rubs the back of my head.

He leads me to the couch, sitting there with me, his arm around my shoulder, while my heads on his shoulder.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asks looking down at me. "Yeah." I nod. "Carrie? Psycho? Pick one." He looks at me. "Carrie." I smile at him. "Ok." He gets up off the couch, walking over to where the dvd's are, putting in Carrie.

-

After about thirty minutes into the movie, the front door opens, revealing Billy and Sidney. "Hey guys!" Billy shouts, walking into the living room. "Hey, Bill. Hey Sidney." I smile at her.

"Hey Annie. Stu." She smiles at us both. "Hey you two." Stu looks at them. "Where are Randy and Michael?" Billy asks. "At work." I say, laying my head back on Stu's shoulder.

"Michael works with Randy now?" Sidney questions. "No, he just wanted to go." I answer. She lets out an "Ah." Nodding.

As if I'm cue, Michael and Randy also busy through the door, laughing with each other. "Oh, sup guys!" Michael turns his attention to Billy and Sidney. Billy and Sid say hi to the two boys, and Billy sits beside me on the couch, while Sidney goes and sits on the recliner, Randy sits on the arm chair and Michael on the beanbag infront of the couch.

"Carrie? I love this film." Randy laughs. "Of course you do, Rand." I smile.

-

Ring ring ring

Three rings make me jump, waking me up. I look at the clock above the tv. One thirty am. I'm hesitant to pick up the phone, but I do anyway, just incase it's mom or dad.

"Mom? Dad?"
"No, it's Dewey. Everything going ok?"
"Oh, hey Dewey. Yeah, everything's fine. You scared me."
"Sorry. Just wanted to make sure. Sorry if I woke you."
"It's fine. I'll call you if I need anything."

I go back to the living room, putting on a comedy that I found. I look around. Billy and Stu are asleep next to me, Randy's also asleep on the arm chair, Sidney asleep on the recliner, and Michael on the beanbag, blankets everywhere. I put my head back on Stu's shoulder.

I feel myself start to drift off again, and I cuddle even more into Stu to be more comfortable.
