Why? (her pov)

After the field trip I wasn't sure anymore. I mean Alden let me sleep on his shoulder, he slept on mine, he kissed my cheek and he looked deeply at me. Maybe Raven was right, maybe he does like me. No, NO way in hell. We hate eachother, all our lives he has been an asshole. The day before senior year he was still an asshole to me.
"Hey, mom can't bring you to school and I have to leave right now so Alden will bring you."
Jake said right after knocking on my open door. Why was the universe against me. It was a great chance to ask him what's going on tho and to make sure he still hates me.
"Sure."
I got ready and went next door, I knocked on the door and Alden opened. It looked like he just woke up.
"Oh, hey Larisa."
He said while his cheeks turned red and he started to smile.
"Can you bring me to school my mom can't bring me."
I said making sure there wasn't the slightest bit of emotion on my face.
"Yeah sure give me 5 minutes then I'll be ready, you can wait inside if you want"
"No thank you."
He has a dog, I'm scared of dogs. I don't know how but it seemed like he read my mind.
"He won't hurt you, if he does I'll hurt him."
What is that supposed to mean.
"C'mon we both know you'd just let him hurt me."
The smile on his face disappeared a bit when I said that.
"Never"
He said seriously.
"Just get inside I'll be ready in 5 minutes."
5 minutes later I was sitting on his couch with his dog on my lap when he walked downstairs.
"See he doesn't hurt anybody, and when they're extremely pretty he lays on their lap."
He said while winking at me and smiling. I blushed even tho I shouldn't. I placed the dog on the floor, and I walked to his car. In the car I didn't want it to be a silent car ride this time.
"Hey, you do know Friday didn't change a thing, I still consider you my enemy."
I started the conversation.
"I know, but why do you consider me your enemy?"
Was his reply.
"Maybe it's because you bullied me my entire life, I mean I don't know but that usually does the trick."
"Yeah I'm sorry about that, but you don't understand the situation I was in."
What did that mean. I just scoffed and turned my face towards the window and looked outside. We arrived at school and just like last time I walked out without saying a word to him.
"Okay, bye!"
I heared him yell. I ignored him the entire week until I couldn't on Thursday night. He was shining his flashlight thought my curtain again and I couldn't take it anymore. I opened my window and so did he.
"Stop shining the fucking flashlight, you act like you want me to stop hating you and then you do this shit!"
I yelled at him
"It's just you've been ignoring me all week I want a reason why."
"Because you're still my enemy and I still hate you."
He closed his window and curtain in a split second. He seemed very sad because of what I said. Finally I can sleep. I bearly could tho, what if he actually likes me and I'm saying all of this shit to him. I felt bad, then I felt mad at myself for feeling bad for him. He had bullied me all my live, called me names, was very rude to me. What I can't get out of my head is that he was being his annoying self the day before senior year but on the first day of school he changed and was nice to me, tried to help me. Why, why did he change in one day? Is Raven right? And if she is it can't be that he just started feeling that way about me over 1 night. I finally fell asleep and woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm. I checked to see is Alden had opened his curtains. He didn't. When I went out in his front garden to ask for a ride. He was already gone. Luckily Jake and his girlfriend hadn't left so I could catch a ride with them. Alden wasn't in school on Friday and in the weekend I didn't see him, I asked Jake where he was and Jake said
"He's staying at his grandparents but he had to leave on Friday."
I didn't believe it one bit, he left the day right after the big argument we had.
Monday he was back at school. I felt relieved for some reason, he ignored me te entire week. I didn't understand so I called Raven up to ask her for advice.
"I thought you were right about you know Alden liking me, but now he has been ignoring me."
I opened up to her.
"Do you mind that?"
"No, not really."
I said knowing that I actually did.
"Then what's the problem he's finally leaving you alone."
"Yeah you're right."
Wednesday afternoon I went to the park to clear my mind when I saw Alden fighting Arren.
"Don't you ever talk bad about Larisa ever again!"
He yelled at Arren while leaving the park. I followed him.
