(Her pov)
Graduation day. Raven is valedictorian. She's so smart, like naturally, she barely studies and goes out every week. I'm still proud of her tho. My parents took pictures of me and my brother when we walked down the stairs in our gowns. The doorbell rang.
"Oh that must be Gloria, Albert and Alden."
"I'll go grab it."
Dad said. Gloria walked in and hugged me tightly with tears in her eyes.
"Look at you, you look so beautiful."
She smiled at me. Her face was all red and her tears started leaving her eyes.
"Yeah you do."
It was quiet but I think that was what Alden told me when he hugged me.
"Okay let's get a picture with the 3 of our graduates."
Mom said. She was also crying and laughing, just like Gloria.
"Larisa you get in the middle."
Albert said.
"Fine."
I got in the middle and I could feel Alden's breath. He had to bend down a little so we could all be in the picture. His head was right next to me. His breath gently passing my neck. I felt a shiver down my spine as I could feel the vibrations of his voice in my ear.
"After graduation, I'll explain everything."
After mom took the picture his lips softly touched my ear. A small breath escaped my lips. The boys walked towards the front door.
"Larisa?."
Jake snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Mhm?"
"You coming."
"Yeah."
My parents Jake and I got into our car. Alden and his parents got into theirs. The backseat was pretty quiet until Jake tapped me on my shoulder and spoke up.
"Hey, promise me one thing?"
"What?"
"Promise me you won't be mean to Alden today."
"Fine."
I let out a sigh. One of those 'I don't really want to but I have to' sighs. Of course it wasn't anything like that. Mom turned up the music since I loved the song that was on the radio.
I sang my heart out.
"Honey, remember you need to play and sing later so don't waste your beautiful voice."
Dad said. I wasn't even singing good. He just wanted me to shut up. My phone vibrated. It was Gloria.
'Hey honey, I just wanted to send you the picture we took."
The picture in our gowns. My heart started racing as I remembered his breath in my neck, his lips touching my ear. I calmed myself down and shortly after we arrived at school.

(His pov)
Mom showed me the picture they took of us. I got exited seeing Larisas beautiful face. I closed my eyes for a sec and I could see her. I stared at the picture so long I could see her when I closed my eyes. Today, in a couple of hours, the truth will come out. We are driving behind Amelie's and Josh's car. Through the back window of their car I could see Larisas hair. Her beautiful hair. We arrived at school and we got out. My heart started racing as I saw her again. It had been 15 minutes since I last saw her but it felt like I hadn't seen her for over a year and we finally saw each other again. We locked eyes. She nervously walked away. She was walking so fast she was almost jogging. The ceremony was about to start so we all took our seats. They started calling the names of the graduates in alphabetical order. I was third in line.
"Alden Craft."
People cheered me on. I was pretty popular. I could see a couple of girls waving at me. Larisa had a jealous look on her face. I noticed it and smiled at her. She got nervous and looked down. A while later they called Jake.
"Jake Nichols."
His girlfriend blew him kisses and he captured them. They are a cute couple to be honest, but he could never love his girlfriend as much as I love Larisa. A couple of minutes later it was Larisas turn.
"Larisa Nichols."
I heard Raven and Chris cheer her on. I tried to cheer louder then them. Larisa noticed and looked me dead in the eyes. I make her nervous, she doesn't know my hands are sweating and my heart is racing when she looked at me. The ceremony was almost done.
"And now valedictorian Raven Everest will share some words."
"Hello everybody. I still don't get how I became valedictorian. So I can't really talk much about it. I would still like to share a piece of advice. If you make time for the things you love, hanging out with your best friends."
She looked at Larisa.
"Annoy your twin brother."
Now looking at Chris.
"Or just read a book, play an instrument. You will be happier than you would if you just studied all day."
The crowd cheered her on.
"One last thing, tell the people you love that you love them, before it's too late."
I wanted to look at Larisa and catched her already staring at me. Raven walked away from the principal.
"Now would everybody please make your way to the reach field where there will be an after party."
Principal Williams said. Larisa hugged Raven, Chris and Jake. When she saw I was next in line she turned around.
"I have to go, you know preform."
I couldn't stop her so I let her run away.
