Senior lies

First day (her pov)

"Larisa get ready I'm leaving in 10 minutes" mom yelled, shit I haven't even started getting ready. The first day of my senior year is already a disaster and it hasn't even started yet. I was finally ready but mom had already left.
"Yeah you were too slow she's already gone." Jake said.
"Then how the fuck am I supposed to get to school in time?!"
I yelled at him, the next sentence that came out of his mouth almost made me puke,
"I'm going with my girlfriend but I'm sure Alden can take you".
No way in hell am I going to be in the same car with him let stand alone, I didn't say that out loud but Jake could tell I was thinking that. "Hey, he's really not that bad, and besides he's your only chance of getting to school in time", it was true he was my only option, but 'really not that bad' is very much the opposite of what he is. I mean ever since first grade he called me names made fun of my grades and ruined every chance I had with a guy by telling them embarrassing stories about me. I gave in and went next door where he was just about to leave. He looked right at me and I didn't care I just walked back home why the fuck would I spent 15 minutes with that asshole in the same car.
"Get in"
he said,
"I would rather walk the entire way to school thank you very much"
I mean it is true.
"Suit yourself"
then he just drove off. In the meantime Jake had already left so I had no choice but to actually walk. After about 5 minutes of walking a car pulled over and the tinted window rolled down.
"Get in Larisa"
fucking hell it was Alden.
"Fine, but only because I want to get to school in time"
"So you can get a spot in the music program?" "How'd you know, you fucking creep!"
"Hey be sure you know who you're calling a creep Jake was just talking about it."
I got in and the entire way to school was silent, when we arrived I got out of the car and just went inside of the school without saying another word to him. I got to my locker, holy shit it was big, this was probably one of my favorite things about being a senior, big lockers, well that and the music program. I've been playing guitar and singing songs ever since I was like 5 years old. I looked at my schedule, my first lesson was chemistry, really chemistry as the first lesson on a fucking Monday you've got to be kidding me. As I entered the classroom this really cute new kid was sitting next to where I usually sit, I joined him and introduced myself.
"Hey I'm Larisa, are you new?"
"Yeah I am, my parents move around a lot so I don't really stay long in any school"
"That sucks, do you have a name or would you like me to call you 'boy who's parents move around a lot'?"
"Oh yeah sorry no my name is Arren"
"Cool"
"Hey so you're the new kid nice to meet you I'm Alden, oh and I see you've met the girl who makes a creepy song about everybody she meets"
Fucking Alden, wtf was he doing. Before I could say anything Arren walked away and found himself a new seat. The lesson started wich meant for the rest of the year I would be the weird girl who sits alone.
At lunch I immediately went to the music room for auditions, I got in!!! I have no clue how but I did.

After school:
"You want a ride home or are you going to walk again"
Alden had no right to talk to me after what he did to me today, I wanted to wipe the smirk of of his face and shove it in his ass.
"You know you're a fucking asshole"
"How come"
He said laughing
"You're the most selfish, shittiest, Jerkiest and dumbest excuse of a person"
"You know I heard that Arren is no good so I should get a thank you"
"And you should know that I can perfectly stand up for myself so I don't need you in my life"
"Fine, walk"
I sensed the slightest bit of anger but also sadness in his voice.

At home:
"Hey why were you being such a jerk to Alden today"
Said Jake while leaning on my door.
"He deserved it"
"Oh yeah you two are 'enemies' anyways congrats on making it into the music program"
"Thanks"

The entire night I was thinking about how Alden was trying to 'protect' me even tho we hate eachother and why he gave me a ride because you know we hate eachother. After about an hour or so I didn't care and I just fell asleep but I woke up in the middle of the night because I saw a flashlight shining trough my curtain, it was probably Alden trying to annoy me. Why, WHY did I have to get the room in front of his. Why, WHY couldn't my brother take this room. I decided to ignore the light and shortly after I fell asleep.
