THE NEXT MORNING percy was moved to cabin three. he looked miserable, and it didn't help that everyone acted like he was some kind of murderer.

nobody mentioned the hellhound, but they were all talking about it, obviously. the attack had scared everybody. it sent two messages: one, that percy was the son of the sea god; and two, monsters would stop at nothing to kill him. they could even invade a camp that had always been considered safe.

most of the campers steered clear from percy, it was stupid, isabella thought that percy had done nothing for them to act like he did the most horrible thing, but she also understood all the campers. being a son of poseidon is a big business.

even though she understood that thay are just scared, isabella still got mad with her siblings and friends for acting like that.

"why are you acting like this?" she told travis one time when he laughed at someone making jokes about percy.

she just received rolled eyes from the people around them.

"you really gonna let her control ya travis?" travis' annoying half brother said with a smile.

the demigod just stood there without talking with isabella. she rolled her eyes walking out of there.

stupid travis.

she still talked with percy, being one of his only friends.

one night they were on percy's cabin, chatting about camp stuff when they saw a paper down the doorway.

sally jackson and son percy are still missing one week after their mysterious disappearance. the family's badly burned '78 camaro was discovered last saturday on a north long island road with the roof ripped off and the front axle broken. the car had flipped and skidded for several hundred feet before exploding.

mother and son had gone for a weekend vacation to montauk, but left hastily, under mysterious circumstances. small traces of blood were found in the car and near the scene of the wreck, but there were no other signs of the missing jacksons. residents in the rural area reported seeing nothing unusual around the time of the accident.

ms. jackson's husband, gabe ugliano, claims that his stepson, percy jackson, is a troubled child who has been kicked out of numerous boarding schools and has expressed violent tendencies in the past.

police would not say whether son percy is a suspect in his mother's disappearance, but they have not ruled out foul play. below are recent pictures of sally jackson and percy. police urge anyone with information to call the following toll-free crime-stoppers hotline.

isabella remembered seeing this newspaper with travis' friends. she was not happy to see this side of the boy.

percy wadded up the paper and threw it away, then sat down in his bunk bed in the middle of the empty cabin.

"don't let it bother you percy." the boy's face lightened up at the sound of her voice, isabella sat beside him.

"it's not that it bothers me, i'm just angry about this whole situation." percy let out a frustrated sigh.

they stayed there, feeling the heat of each other. but not later isabella had to leave his cabin.
