LINKED

Chapter 4

Elena, Damon and Stefan were looking at the desiccated Elijah, they did not trust him. "What are we going to do," Elena asks the Salvatores. "He can't do anything with a dagger in his heart, now we only need to find Klaus and then we can kill him," Damon says. 

Klaus scoffs, "You honestly thought you could kill me," he asks. "Elijah said he was on our side," Elena complains. 

"But how are we going to save me from the sacrifice now," Elena asks. "We will figure it out," Stefan says, trying to calm her down.  "He's right, we don't even know if the rest of the Mikaelsons are real," Damon says. 

"Oh, darling," Rebekah says. "We are very real," Rebekah adds.

Klaus stood over an open coffin looking down at his younger brother. It had been ten years since he found out about being LINKED to the young Bennett witch. He was preparing to head to Mystic Falls and wanted to get Bonnie out of the town. So he pulled the dagger out of Kol, he was concerned about Elijah, he hadn't heard from his older brother in a while. If the people protecting the doppelganger found out about the daggers then Elijah could be in danger. As Kol slowly regained his color, Niklaus placed a blood bag by the coffin and left.

"You pulled the dagger out of your brother to protect me," Bonnie asks.

Kol woke up and drank the blood and headed to find his hybrid brother. "You have a lot of nerve," Kol growls at his brother. "I need your help," Klaus says. "With what," Kol asks, realizing that his brother was being genuine. "Ayanna LINKED one of her descendants to me, if she dies, I will slowly lose my mind until I kill myself, and if I die, she dies," Klaus says. "Why would Ayanna do that," Kol asks. "Because of what Esther did," Klaus says. "So, what do you want me to do," Kol asks. "I want you to bring her to her mother out of Mystic Falls," Klaus says. "Where does her mother live," Kol asks. "Monroe, North Carolina," Klaus says. "Come on, let's introduce you so she does not kill you," Klaus says. The Original brothers leave the house in the blink of an eye, and appear on Abby's doorstep. The door opens and Abby glares at Klaus, "Abby, this is my brother," he says. "He is going to go to Mystic Falls and bring Bonnie here," Klaus says. "Hello, darling," Kol says. "Hello," Abby says. "When are you going to be here with Bonnie, in a couple weeks," Kol says. Abby nods and both of the Originals leave.

"Don't you know that the Originals are dangerous," Elena asks the older Bennett. "Don't you know that they are the most powerful vampires in the world," Abigail retorts.

Just when the Salvatores thought that they were free from the Mikaelsons, Kol came to town. He walked into the Mystic Grille and was immediately entranced by a blonde sitting at the bar, "Hello, darling," he says sitting next to her. "And who are you," she asks. "I'm Kol, and you," he says. "Caroline," she says. "I've never seen you here before," she adds. "I'm new to town, sort of," he tells her. "Well, maybe I can help you get used to town," she flirts. "Well, I would certainly enjoy your company," he says. "So what brings you to Mystic Falls," she asks. "A family friend is in danger and I want to get her out of town," he says. "Well, maybe I can help you find them," Caroline says, thinking he knew Elena was in trouble. "Bonnie Bennett," he says. "Come on," Caroline says, leading the Original out of the bar. 

"Are you flirting with her," Elena asks. "Yes," Kol deadpans. "How do you feel about that darling," Kol asks the blonde. Caroline blushes scarlet. 

Caroline and Kol leave the bar and head to where Grams used to live, where Bonnie currently lives. "Bonnie," Caroline calls. The young Bennett witch comes to the door, "I'm sorry do I know you," she asks Kol. He shakes his head, "I have a message for you from Ayanna Bennett," he says. "Come in," she says quickly. Kol walks in the door with Caroline and they both sit down in the living room with Bonnie. "What did Ayanna say," Bonnie asks. "Your father lied about why your mother left," Kol says. "Ayanna wants me to take you to your mother so she can explain," Kol says. "Okay, but," Bonnie says looking at Caroline. "Bonnie, this is huge," Caroline exclaims. "You have to go," she says. "But what about Elena," Bonnie asks. "Who cares, your dad lied to you about your mom," Caroline exclaims. "Fine," Bonnie agrees. "But Caroline has to come with me," she bargains. "Done," Kol says. 

"Caroline how can you agree to that," Elena exclaims. "Uh, easily, just like that," Caroline retorts.
