After healing from having some of her blood drained out of her, Elena wants revenge. Damon, Stefan, and Elena recruit Alaric to find out more about the Mikaelsons and their fears. They had also recruited Katherine Pierce, they knew that their older doppelganger was akways up for trying to get something over Klaus and knew more about the Mikaelsons then anyone else in town. She was the one who pointed them in the direction of Mikael. Elena and the Salvatores stumbled upon tunnels underneath the Lockwood property. At the end of the tunnels, was a cavern that had a story in runic carved into the walls.
"You just had to show off your ability to carve, didn't you," Rebekah says to Klaus. The hybrid rolls his eyes at his sister and ignores Kol who is laughing.
Alaric translates the carvings in the wall and tells Elena his findings. "What did you find," Elena asks. "Well, I had help," Alaric says. Elena furrows her eyebrows, "From who," she asks. "Bonnie's dad," Alaric says, surprised. "Huh," Elena says. She picks up a picture, "What does this mean," she asks. "It translates to the hybrid killed the Original witch," Alaric says. "Can I borrow this," Elena asks. "Sure," Alaric says. Elena takes the photo and puts it in her bag.
Klaus rolls his eyes, "Do you honestly think that a picture will tear my family apart," he asks. "Nik, play nice. It's all they have," Kol says.

Rebekah and Caroline were getting the cheer team ready for their performance at homecoming. Elena comes up to the two, "I need to tell you something," she says to Rebekah. "What, I'm busy," Rebekah says. "Your brother, Klaus killed your mom," Elena says, showing the two blondes the photo. "Is this all you have," Rebekah asks. "Because I already know this," she adds. "What do you mean," Elena asks. "You clearly do not have all of the information," Rebekah adds, rolling her eyes and walking away with Caroline.
"Okay, this clearly does not make any sense," Elena says. "Because I did not throw an immediate fit," Rebekah asks. "Exactly," Elena retorts.
Rebekah pulls her phone out and dials Nik's number, Kol had heard the conversation between Elena and his sister and follows Caroline and Rebekah. "Yes, Rebekah," Klaus says as he answers the phone. "Elena found out about Esther," Rebekah says. Klaus sighs, "I hope you know that I am sorry," Klaus says. "I know, but the problem is that Elena wants to wake Mikael and she will only do it if I am on her side," Rebekah says. "Fake it," Kol tells his sister. Rebekah sighs, "Okay," Rebekah says. "See you soon," Klaus says to his siblings. "Bye," Kol, Rebekah and Caroline say in unison before Rebekah hangs up.
"Fake it," Elena asks. "Yes, you are trying to manipulate me and I will manipulate you," Rebekah deadpans.

When Klaus gets off the phone, he turns to Bonnie. "What happened," Bonnie asks. "Elena is trying to manipulate my sister," Klaus says. "How," Bonnie asks. "By telling her about my mother," Klaus says. "What happened to your mother," Bonnie asks. Klaus sighs, "My mother and Ayanna were not the only witches in my village," Klaus begins. "After my mother bound my werewolf side, she asked another witch to place a spell on me," he continues. "The spell was only broken when I killed my mother," he says. "Your mother asked someone to do that to you," Bonnie asks. Klaus nods, "She was hoping that it would break my relationship with my siblings," Klaus explains.
"Shocking that our mother wanted to ruin our relationship," Kol says. "Ah, yes, I feel that Esther is a little one note with that one," Elijah says agreeing with his younger brother.
"What she was not prepared for was Ayanna telling them," Klaus says. "When Ayanna told them about my mother's treason, they did not hate me," Klaus says. "They supported me," he says. "You know, I wish I was able to meet Ayanna," Bonnie says. "You remind me of Ayanna," Klaus admits. Bonnie smiles, "No matter what happens with Elena, I want you to know that I don't think you are a monster," Bonnie says. Klaus smiles and looks down. When he moves his head back up to look at Bonnie, she presses their lips together.
"Ewww," Elena says. Bonnie and Klaus roll their eyes, "Elena," Bonnie says, drawing the brunette's attention onto her. "I do not care about your opinion," Bonnie says stressing each syllable.

Jenna and Elijah open their eyes to see the Regency Era in England. Jenna looks down at her clothing to see a full ballgown, "May I have this dance," Elijah asks. Jenna takes in his appearance, he was wearing a suit from a different era. "Yes, I will have a dance," Jenna says. Jenna laughs as they begin dancing, "So why is this your favorite era," Jenna asks. Elijah nods his head to a different area of the ballroom and Jenna looks in that direction. "The blonde is my younger sister," Elijah explains. "She was always happiest when we went to this kind of party," Elijah says.
Jenna looks at the blonde Original who is glaring at Elijah. "Regency Era, so cliche," Kol says.
Elijah leans down to kiss Jenna, but he wants the kiss to be real. He breaks the spell, and they are back in the hotel that Elijah compelled for the two. Jenna leans up and kisses the Original in the suit.
"Way to move quickly, Elijah," Klaus and Kol in unison. "The two of you are idiots," Elijah retorts.
