Mad Max 2

Part 2

El's POV

The next morning I ring the Mayfield house to make sure Max is up for school but no one picks up,

"no one answered" I sigh and turn to Will,

"we can just go early so we can help her get ready" He says as he grabs his bag,

"Yea okay" I grab my stuff and we head to the door,

"Bye Hop! Bye Joyce!" I call out before we leave and make our way to Max's house. After about 5 minutes of biking we arrive at her house, we drop our bikes on the front lawn and go to the front door,

"Wait I'm here!" Max pants out from behind us, she's dressed in only a sports bra and some shorts, a thin layer of sweat glistens over her body,

"I was on a run" She wipes her forehead,

"Jesus" Will says,

"I'll go get ready for school now, you guys just wait out here" She pushes past us and enters her house, Will and I take a seat on the steps in front of her house,

"Okay I am 1000% gay but Max looks-" 

"hot" I continue his sentence,

"Well you guys still like each other right? just kiss her or something!"

"Will! No! I don't even know if she still likes me!"

"Didn't you say Max kissed you like before she left??"

"She was on drugs!"

"Still" Will raises his eyebrows,

"Will! No!" I put my face in my hands, suddenly Max runs out of the house and slams the door behind her, she slumps against it and takes a few deep breaths,

"are you okay?" I stand up,

"huh? oh yup" she stands back up,

"where's ur board?" Will asks,

"broken" She says,

"you can ride on the back of my bike" I say,

"cool" she follows me to my bike and waits for me to get on, I feel her arms wrap around my waist and her hot breath on the back of my neck, when we make it to school all eyes are on Max, she is the centre of attention to over half the boys in the school, safe to say I wasn't the only one who noticed her new look. We park out bikes and head over to where Mike, Lucas and Dustin stare wide eyed at Max,

"please don't tell me you've gone back to your middle school stalker stage" Max raises her eyebrow,

"Wha- no!" Lucas nervously laughs,

"I'm just teasing" Max chuckles,

"MAAXXXX" Someone yells out making everyone stare,

"Gabbi!" Max runs over and engulfs her in a hug,

"Holy shit she is so hot" Dustin says,

"Dustin!" I smack him,

"Sorry El but i am as fair game as you to her" Dustin says,

"Same here" Lucas agrees,

"You aren't seriously going to fight over her are you??" Will asks,

"Looks like someone already beat you to it" Mike says, we all whip our heads around to see Gabbi plant a small kiss on Max's cheek,

"dangit!" Dustin frowns,

"maybe that's what girl bestfriends do" Lucas suggests,

"It was only a cheek kiss" Mike shrugs,
