"Put the collar back on, we're done with Subject 6 for today," a man said, clicking a few keys on his computer. There were plants wrapped about in a see-through room, along with a blond haired boy who was moving them around. Another man entered the room and placed a metal collar on the boy with a click.

"Take him back to the containment chamber. And bring me Subject 1, I wouldn't mind having some fun with him," the first man said. The blond haired boy's eyes went wide as he begun to be dragged from the room he was placed in.

"No, don't. Please leave him alone, let him be. You took his power yesterday, it's too much," the boy yelled as he was dragged from the room. The man ignored his screams and went back to his computer.

The boy was dragged through the halls by two armed men, neither stopping despite the boys cries. They took him to a door and unlocked it using a key card before dragging him inside. There were 6 other boys sitting on old beds in the room but they all looked up when the others entered. One of the men threw the blond boy forwards and he stumbled, tripping over but one of the older boys jumped forwards and grabbed him, securing him safely in his arms.

"They want San again," the blond whispered, informing the other. The black haired boy's head snapped up and he scanned the room quickly, his eyes landing on the smaller boy with black hair, a blue streak through it, curled up on the corner bed.

"Subject 1, the Commander wants you now," one of the armed men said.

"No absolutely not! You've put him through enough. You're going to end up killing him," the orange haired boy yelled, jumping to his feet and moving in front of the smaller boy.

"That isn't up for you to decide Subject 2, stand down," the man said. The orange haired boy knew he couldn't beat them due to the inhibitor collar around his neck but he wasn't going to let them take the younger boy without a fight. The man lifted up his gun and pointed it at the orange haired boy, loading it. It didn't have bullets but it was like a taser with a high voltage that is very painful. The small boy at the back of the room jolted up quickly and stumbled over to the older boy, wrapping an arm around his waist and tugging him back slightly.

"Please don't Joong, I'll be ok," he whispered. The orange haired boy looked at the younger one, San. His heart broke at the resignation in his eyes, the way he seemed so hopeless. He lifted his hand to San's shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze before pulling back. His shoulders slumped in sadness as the armed men grabbed the younger boy and he was dragged from the room. The rest of the boys remained silent, knowing there was nothing they could do but comply.

"They're going to end up killing him," one of the others whispered, the one with pale blue hair. No one spoke after that, all knowing it may end up being true.

They were taken to this facility as kids, bought from an orphanage and they were experimented on, their DNA altered, gaining abilities they didn't want. For years they continued to be experimented on, tortured for gifts they never asked for, a life they never wanted.

"Chain him into the chair and connect him to the power absorber," the Commander said. The two men nodded and dragged the boy to a seat in the middle of the sealed room. The sat him in the chair so he couldn't move, strapping even his head in place. They connected eight wires around his body, jabbing them into him without a care if it hurt him slightly. Once the wires were in place, one of the men scanned the collar and removed it. San instantly felt power vibrating through his body, building up slowly but steadily. He tried to move but his entire body was strapped in tightly.

"Ok Subject 1, we are commencing experiment 1478," the Commander said, his voice ringing out over the intercom. San closed his eyes and clenched his fists closed, preparing for the pain that was going to come. In the beginning he was told it wouldn't hurt too much, and he believed them. Not anymore. It always hurt.
