Chapter 14

"Alright, are we all clear on what the plan for today is," Hongjoong asked as the boys all finished clipping up their uniforms.

"Yeah, we're all set," Yunho said with a nod.

"Yeosang, on your last recon, how many guards did you see around," Hongjoong asked, turning to the blond.

"There were 4 of the men in white masks and at least 10 to 15 guards," Yeosang replied.

"We can definitely take them," Mingi said with a firm nod.

"I think you guys can take them." All seven of them turned around to see Wooyoung sitting on a bench, his legs dangling down and swinging back and forth. Seonghwa smiled softly and walked over patting Wooyoung's hair softly as the younger smiled happily.

"I'll see you guys tonight though right. No one's going to get hurt," Wooyoung asked worriedly, his smile dropping slightly.

"Of course we will. We'll be back here before you know it Youngie," Yeosang said quickly. Wooyoung was still nervous about what was going to be happening and nothing can guarantee they will get back safe. It was only 3 days ago that he saw San curled up in a ball of fear on the ground in the middle of the forest. He doesn't want any of them getting hurt. Mingi noticed how nervous Wooyoung was and quickly walked over to him.

"Hey Woo, you wanna see something kind of cool," Mingi asked. Wooyoung nodded immediately and Mingi grinned nervously. Truthfully he isn't really sure if Wooyoung would find it cool but he's found the other abilities he has seen pretty cool so he's hoping Wooyoung will also find his cool. He fiddled with his fingers for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and focusing. He knew it had worked when he heard Wooyoung gasp and he glanced back up at him to see him looking around wildly.

"Gigi? Gigi where'd you go. Where did Mingi go, is he ok," Wooyoung asked frantically, jumping off the bench and continuing to look around.

"It's ok Wooyoung, I'm right here," Mingi said quickly. Wooyoung jumped in surprise as he heard the olders voice and he turned around only to once again see nothing. He started panicking more and he reached out in worry.

"Gigi," he cried out quickly. Mingi had enough, not liking that he had scared Wooyoung and he quickly reversed what he had done. Wooyoung immediately lunged forwards and hugged him tightly. Mingi engulfed him in a strong and warm hug, patting his back gently.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I know my ability isn't cool like the others, I just wanted to try and cheer you up a little," Mingi said sadly. The others immediately went to protest but Wooyoung beat them to it, pulling back slightly and shaking his head.

"You can turn invisible right, that's what that was," Wooyoung asked.

"Um, yeah," Mingi said with a small nod. Wooyoung smiled softly and nuzzled his head into Mingi's chest, given that was the highest he could reach.

"That's awesome. Maybe one day we can test and see if you can make me invisible as well," Wooyoung said, squeezing Mingi's waist tightly. Hongjoong smiled softly as he saw the way Mingi's eyes lit up at that. Their abilities had always felt like burdens to them but Wooyoung's reactions to seeing them always make them feel better.

"You really thinks it's amazing," Mingi asked quickly.

"Yeah man. You can literally turn yourself invisible, that's like every kid's dream," Wooyoung said excitedly.

"Yeah, I guess it is. I tell you what, once this is over we'll see if I can turn you invisible ok," Mingi said. Wooyoung nodded and squeezed him one last time before letting go and stepping back.
