"Can someone go get San and tell him to come down for dinner," Seonghwa asked as he begun plating the food. Mingi nodded and got up, going to San's room and knocking. There was no reply so Mingi slowly opened the door and poked his head inside. He frowned and opened the door fully when his eyes landed on San. The slightly older boy was spread out across the bed, his eyes closed and his face lax as he slept peacefully. Mingi sighed and walked over, gently moving San so he was lying properly on the bed, his head resting on the pillow. He then removed his shoes and socks and placed the blanket over him, bending down and placing a soft kiss to his forehead.
"You need to stop overworking yourself Sannie. You gotta lean on us, stop being so stubborn and trying to do everything yourself," he whispered, brushing San's hair back delicately. He sighed to himself before standing up and leaving the room, going back to the dining room where everyone was already sitting.
"He's asleep. I don't want to wake him because he looks exhausted," he told them.
"He's already asleep," Hongjoong asked worriedly. San usually has trouble sleeping, they all know that, so for him to be asleep now means he's exhausted.
"He needs to cut down on work. We have all of our bills in check and we aren't behind on any payments. I know he's scared we might have to run again but he's putting too much on himself," Seonghwa said with a sigh.
"That's just how he is though. Ever since we got out he's been closed off, protective and he's been doing everything he can to look after us," Yunho said.
"I know, I was just merely saying that I wish he would stop. He needs to learn to open up more, relax," Seonghwa said with a sigh.
"Maybe he should meet Wooyoung. The kids crazy and an adorable ball of sunshine, surely he could brighten him up a bit," Yeosang said.
"Who's Wooyoung," Jongho asked.
"Wooyoung is this guy I met today, Seonghwa had him over," Yeosang said. Everyone immediately turned to Seonghwa who went a little red.
"You had someone over here at the house," Hongjoong asked in surprise. They're a pretty tight knit group, never really making many friends wherever they go, certainly not people they would bring back to their home.
"I um, I know we don't normally bring people back here but he's a good kid and he's so sweet. I'm sorr-."
"Hwa it's fine. We don't have a rule about people not being allowed to come here," Hongjoong said quickly, to quell his panic. Seonghwa took a breath and nodded, smiling nervously.
"I didn't know you made a new friend though, I'm intrigued. What's this guy like and how has he managed to worm his way into your heart so quickly," Hongjoong said with a grin.
"He has his ways Joong, trust me," Yeosang said.
"Now I'm intrigued as well if he has Sangie all smitten already," Jongho spoke up.
"His name is Jung Wooyoung and he's, well he's a bit clumsy and clueless but he's adorable," Seonghwa said with a smile.
"How old is he," Mingi asked.
"He's 22. He's younger than the entire 99 line though," Seonghwa replied.
"How'd you meet him," Yunho asked.
"I met him at the beach, he was the guy I mentioned to you guys. Yeosang actually met him earlier today," Seonghwa replied.
"Yeah, I kind of attacked him with the lounge room plant cos I thought he was an intruder and I was worried he was going to go after Seonghwa," Yeosang admitted.
"I mean I don't blame you but poor guy, you probably scared the shit out of him," Mingi said.
"Yeah, he was screaming and crying but Hwa calmed him down. He had the little one curled up in his lap," Yeosang teased, nudging Seonghwa's side.
