Wooyoung sighed quietly as he gently wiped sweat from San's forehead with a damp towel. The boy was sleeping soundly, however it was clear that his fever was picking up. Wooyoung was getting ready for bed when he noticed, planning to sleep on the couch but he decided not to. He needed to keep an eye on San to make sure he didn't get worse so he could just sleep on the floor of his room instead. He had placed some blankets and pillow down and rested on top of them. Every half an hour he got up and checked on San, making sure to try and keep his fever down as much as he could. He still doesn't know why San refused to go to hospital or even to just find someone he knew but San very well may have saved his life so the least he could do is look after him when he reached out. He ran the damp cloth over San's face for a little bit longer, making sure he was relaxed. He tucked the sheets back over San and laid back down on his makeshift bed, letting out a yawn. It was almost 2am and Wooyoung had hardly slept but he didn't really mind, not having anything to do in the morning anyway. He pulled out his phone and decided to look through Twitter for a little while to pass some time.

He was scrolling for Twitter for barely 20 minutes before his attention was drawn by a quiet whimper. His head snapped up at the sound and he frowned, waiting to see if he heard anything else. It didn't take long before there was another whimper and heavy breathing and Wooyoung sat up quickly. He moved onto his knees and looked over at San, seeing his face scrunched up and his hand clenching the sheets of the bed, the blanket kicked off to the side. Wooyoung went to move closer but froze when San cried out slightly.

"Make it stop, please make it stop," San begged, a tear sliding down his face.

"It hurts," he said brokenly. Wooyoung's eyes were wide as he saw San writhing in pain. San gasped and his entire body tensed, arching slightly off the bed. It was clear to Wooyoung that he was having some sort of nightmare and whatever it was, was something that was painful and made him feel like he was in pain.

"San? San, it's ok," Wooyoung said quickly, moving beside the bed. San cried out again, more tears sliding down his face as he thrashed around.

"Sannie," Wooyoung said, placing a hand on San's shoulder. San had no reaction to it though so he gave him a gentle shove.

"Come on San wake up, you're ok," Wooyoung said, shaking him harder. San jolted slightly so Wooyoung shook him again, harder this time. San's eyes suddenly snapped open and for a second Wooyoung thought they were a pale blue but he didn't get much of a chance to register anything as there was a sudden bruising grip around his wrist and he was yanked forwards. He yelped in shock and slight pain and tried to pull away but San suddenly threw him onto the bed and straddled his hips, pinning him down. Wooyoung's eyes went wide and he tried to shove San away but he didn't even budge an inch, seeming barely affected. Instead he grabbed both of Wooyoung's wrists in one hand and pinned them above his head, his other hand wrapping around the base of his neck. Wooyoung's eyes widened in panic and he looked at San, meeting his eyes. He paused when he saw the look in them. They were slightly gazed over and had a fearful look. It was then that Wooyoung realised, San didn't know it was him, he was just scared from whatever he saw in his nightmare.

"San, Sannie. Sannie, it's me, it's Wooyoung," he said quickly. San's hand around his throat tensed but didn't tighten. Wooyoung wasn't scared, he knew San wasn't trying to hurt him, he was just scared and confused. He knew. San blinked a few times, his head tilting to the side slightly.

"It's Wooyoung San. You know, the guy who was crying like a baby and ran to you to protect him. The guy you saved and you gave your leather jacket, which is really cool by the way," Wooyoung choked out quickly. San's face dropped slightly and his hand let go of Wooyoung's wrists. Wooyoung immediately reached up and gently cupped San's face, surprised when the other didn't pull away.
