-nine months later.

"Hey boo."

"Hey girl!" I smiled at Rhaniyah as she sat down in-front of me. We came to meet for brunch since she said she was out shopping anyways and I just wanted to get out the house.

"How have you been?" I asked her.

"I've been good, I'm happy." She smiled slightly before sighing. "Um, I've been keeping in something since I left Bam and I just feel the need to get it off of my chest."

"You aren't pregnant are you?"

"Oh no!— I mean.. no. Im not." She paused and I stared at her. "Before I actually left Bam I was leaving a lot. Pretty sure he told you. But when I was leaving I would be going out to be with Zay." She spoke. Once she said his name I squinted at her.

"So—"

"Wait just hear me out—"

"No I can't believe you do that to Bam, Rhaniyah what the hell?"

"I just didn't feel like Bam understood me anymore. Not like he used to. I know Zay did me wrong in the past but—"

"He did you more than wrong. He did you horribly and you left someone good for him? I can't believe you."

"I don't expect you to understand." She sniffed. But it wasn't a cry sniff it was a dry sniff.

"I understand he's done some messed up things to me in the past and nobodies perfect so I decided to leave it in the past entirely. Everyone deserves a second chance. And yes Bam was a very good and supportive boyfriend but sometimes shit happens and I just feel a stronger connection with Zay. He's better now Hailey."

I saw no use to arguing with her now, her and Mack would never be anything again. So it was just best to let it go, I thought.

"I didn't want to come here for us to argue. I just missed tou."

I nodded slowly. It has been months since she's texted or called me back, not that I was complaining really. We all have a life.

"You're right." I mumbled. I felt my phone ringing from my hand and flipped it over seeing Angie was calling me. I smiled and answered placing the phone infront of me.

"Hey girl!" She sqeauled. "I missed you where you been?"

"You know, the usual."I spoke and she nodded. Then frowned.

"You busy?"

"Oh yeah I'm at brunch with one of my girlfriends,—"

"Oh! I'm sorry Ill call you later. I just wanted to show you this." She put her hand up and my eyes widened. She nodded with a wide smile.
"Come over later so we can talk, enjoy yourself."

"Okay love you muah."

"Muah." She blew a kiss and hung up.

I cut my phone off and apologized to Rhaniyah.

"It's cool... who's that?"
