"Heyyyy Mack." The older women smiled at me as I walked towards the back.
"What's up?" I nodded.
The manager opened the safe with her key and I packed the empty bag with money. Once I was done she closed and locked it back.
"You getting something to eat today?" I shook my head in response to her question as I zipped the bag up. My partner, Lou would ask me to get him something to eat most of the times I had to come into a restaurant. That's really the reason they even know my name.
"Nah, thank you though."
"You welcome." She smiled and I walked passed her back to the front and from behind the counter. I made my way outside and put the money in the back of the truck before sitting in my seat. Lou wasted no time pulling off.
"Where my food man?"
"You wasn't finna eat that shit anyways, already getting ready to shit on yourself."
"Oh yeah I forgot. Think I got food poisoning from last time."
"Told you that was a bad area to be getting food from."
He held his stomach making a sharp turn. I held my seat belt tighter and looked at him crazy.
"I almost pulled over, imma have to push this bitch."
"Oh hell nah."

"Hey how can I help you today?" The woman smile at me.
"Hey, I had a pickup for Mack."
"Oh yes..." She turned around and grabbed the bouquet of flowers.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. They're beautiful."
"They are." I nodded. "Is this all?"
"Oh yeah. Says you paid already, have a nice day."
"You too."
I walked out the flower shop and got into the passenger seat of Nellys car.
"Simp." He spoke as I put the bouquet between my legs and buckled up as he pulled off.
"Didn't you propose on the fourth date?"

"..."
"Bro." Nelly said then paused. "You ever seen someone so bad you were drooling at the fuckin' mouth? Like literally had the air sucked out of your body?"
Yea.
"We know you in love bruh." Benji laughed. Everytime we brought up Nelly falling for her so fast he would go on about how she is the finest person he's ever seen and she's just like him and she supports him blah blah. Whole lot of shit.
