Dan's POV

"Hey Scar, are you sure you're okay?" I said as I looked her right in the eyes.

"Yeah...just tired." she yawned, "go to sleep Dan, stop worrying about me, Im fine."

"Okay..."

Scarlett has been acting so distant today, I dont know what it is but I hope shes okay. When she says shes fine you could see that clearly shes not by just looking into her eyes and the tone of the voice she is using.

__

"Good morning" I smiled.

"Morning" she said as she kissed my cheek. "Hey Dan...Im going to Ivan today-alone this time if you don't mind..."

"Yeah sure, you need your alone time." I replied.

"Thank you" she mumbled into. my chest as she hugged me.

Scarlett's POV

I got out a pair of blue boyfriend jeans, black sweater and my favourite black doc martens. I changed into my clothes and went out, kissing both Matthew and Dan on the way.

__

I started the car and drove off. I put the car radio on, so the quietness didnt drive me insane.

I parked the car walked over to the entrance, I stopped and took a deep breath. "here we go" I mumbled.

I sat at Ivan's grave, knees tucked under my chin and hands wrapped around my leg.

I traced my fingers around the engraved letters. Ivan James Peters.

All the memories come back, but he never does.

I sat there in silence remembering all the things we had done together, how we met, our first date-everything.

I just couldn't wrap my head around the fact that I keep seeing him, im positive its just a hallucination-but im not crazy, well at least I think Im not...

I saw figure in the corner of my eye, it was a woman, she looked like she was in her 50's or 60's. She looked awfully familiar. The woman faced me and looked me right in the eyes.

And then it struck me, oh my god, I can't believe I didn't get it before.

I was speachless. It was Ivans mother, she-she looked so different. Im ashamed that I didn't recognise her. her eyes went glossy, I ran up to her and enveloped her into a hug. oh how I have missed this woman.

"Scarlett?!" She mumbled barely audible. I nodded and got out of the hug.

"I've missed you so much, how are you?" She asks.

"Im good, yourself?"

"The same" she smiled, her laughter lines showing. I couldn't help but smile with her.

"Would you like to get some coffee or something? Because you look freezing." I ask.

"Yeah sure, Im not in a hurry so why not?"
