Chapter 2 : Emily's P.O.V.

The walk to the next class was hard. Well for the other students. Since most of my brothers and I have classes near each other, they surrounded me once again.

I swear, during prom, they will be wearing suits and look like the F.B.I. around me. I bumped into the back of Evan, and was pulled out of thought.

I quickly gave my brothers a goodbye before entering the classroom in front of me. Most seats were full in the middle, so I made my way to the back, to find an empty desk. I set down my items and melted into the seat. It's only the beginning and I'm already tired.

Ringgggg! The bell screamed. As the last students entered, the teacher turned towards us. "Class, I would like to introduce myself as Miss Carson." A few hellos echoed throughout the room before silence embraced us all.

Miss Carson was about to speak, but the door opened with a loud squeak.

 The silence was broken.

The boy standing in the doorway told the teacher an excuse, which she just meekly nodded. He soon made his way to the back, and towards me.

Once he had noticed I was here he growled, and slid my items off the desk. He already had a seat, and it was the first day! I looked back at him with a glare.

"Pick it up, you made it fall." I said to him, anger laced in my voice.

 "No" was all he said.

"Ex-squeeze me, what did you say. I asked you to pick it up!" My voice getting louder by each word.

"No." he said. I was about to respond back but Miss Carson cut in.

"Chris, just take the seat next to her. She's new for godsake." the seriousness was heard, so with a last glare towards me he sat down.

Once Miss Carson soon began her lesson I leaned over and pressed my lips close to his ear and whispered, "You didn't pick my stuff up." He got up and like a sloth, picked it up and slammed it onto my desk. "Thank you." I whispered to him before turning towards the front. A grunt was all that was heard, which I took as a response.

The day dragged on, with boring classes, break, and what not. But as soon as the bell rang for lunch, I was back in a happy mood.

I took a seat at a empty table, and was quickly surrounded by all my brothers. "What are you guys doing here?" I looked at them confused. The boys all have different answers and made it hard to hear. "Guys!" I screeched. That shut them up. "Sam? Would you care to explain." He scratched the back of his head before he spoke.

"Well all of us haven't really made any friends, so..." He was quick cut off by Ryder, "We all decided to bother you." he gave me a cheeky smile.

"Yeah, what Ryder said." Sam told me. With a sigh I opened my lunch. It was In-And-Out. In fact we all got one. Evan was now the one holding a cheeky smile so I ran over to him and smothered him with kisses, which I know he hates. So do I.

"Thanks Evan." The boys looked at him before thanking him as well. After we finished our food, we headed outside.

After playing intense soccer with my brothers, the bell rang. Ringgggg! I quickly gathered up my books and walked to math. My brothers all had different classes, that were on the other side of the school so, I was on my own. Drake nor the twins were here to protect me. But who said I needed protection. I'm FREE! For now.

"Hello. I'm Mrs. Hayes. Class, this is our new student Emily. Emily, would you like to tell us a little bit about yourself?" From the looks of it, she was going to be one of those really talkative teachers. Whatever. I just told her what I told every class and the notes just kept on flying over.

-

After school, my brothers all had some kind of thing to attend to, so they dropped me off at our new "house".

I opened a new bag of chocolate chips and sat down at my desk, doing homework. Halfway through it, the doorbell rang. Ding dong! I went downstairs to open the door, thinking that it might be my brothers picking up something they might have forgotten or the delivery man. But, no. It was Brody. Huh, what?

"Hi," I greeted him. "What are you doing here?"

He just gave me a cocky grin and asked," Are you going to let me come in or are you just going to stand there gaping at me?" Whoops. I closed my mouth and let him in. He then started talking," So, how was your first day? Was it good? Where are your brot..."

I quickly cut him off. " It was okay and my brothers are all at some sort of class, right now. Do you want anything? I have chocolate chips, cookies, crackers, soda, and practically everything." He just wanted a Sprite and we went upstairs, to my bedroom.

-

After we had talked, laughed, and hung out, he had to leave. It was a good thing that he left because the boys came home 5 minutes later and wouldn't have wanted me to be with him. Let alone, in my bedroom. My mom came home, and started the preparation of dinner. All my brothers gave mom a peck on the cheek before climbing up the steps. I followed in suit with them. And of course we ended up in the gaming room. What a surprise. Drake slipped in the Halo disc into the Xbox. He and Charlie grabbed the controls as the rest of us made bets on who was going to win. In the end, Charlie had won. I was rooting for him. We then, smelt the delicious food mom was making. We went down to the dining hall to see the food and plates set upon the table. We ate while talking about our day and helped our mom clean up afterwards. We then stomped up the stairs and into our rooms. I showered and got into bed.
