"I'm never gonna let you close to me, even when you mean the most to me. Cause every time I open up it hurts."

"What are you trying to say? We're done? Is that it?" "Yes. We're through. I just... I don't... Love you anymore Michel. I don't think I ever did." "You're lying. Tell me you're lying. It's her, isn't it? She fucked things up between us. And she's gonna pay." He threatened grabbing his keys. "No!" I shouted grabbing his arm. He ripped it away and backhanded me causing me to stumble back.

"Maybe I should make you pay instead," He said slapping me again, this time hard enough to make me fall. He stood over me, smiling down at me. "Fuck you, Michel!" I spat at him. His smile vanished. "No. fuck- you- May-" He punctuated each word with a kick to my side. I cried out in pain. "You're not worth it. You're not worth anything bitch."

My vision faded in and out of blackness as I watched him leave. I held my breath until I heard the door open and close, releasing it with a pain-filled sigh. I stumbled to my feet groaning in pain, tears streaming down my face at the intensity and sharpness of it. I grabbed my phone and typed in the number, her number, and tapped call. My hands were shaking. I collapsed on the couch as she picked up.

"Kira..." I breathed in relief. I don't know why I wasn't expecting her to pick up but I was glad she did. The tears flowed freely now. "May? May what's wrong? What happened? Is everything okay?" "No. Michel he... Hurt me. I need you, Kira." "I'm coming. Don't hang up." The pain became too much, taking over as I blacked out.
