You've been talking in your sleep

Sleeping in your dreams

With some sweet lover

Holding on so tight

Loving her the way

You used to love me

Talking in your sleep with loving on your mind

Ace knew he wasn't intimidating so the boy was behind me just in case the whole 'panic thing' happened again. I gave a sassy and confused glare. He was being stupid and I didn't like it. I hated when he wasn't as upfront and blunt as I was.

"How on earth would you know that my birthday is on October 9th?" I said, my brows furrowing in anticipation and impatience. I had never told him, Liam didn't either; why would he know?

"The reason would be that, right there." Draco removed his hand from his pocket and pointed at something behind me. I turned my head to Ace, beat red. What was going on? I need an explanation as to why Ace's face was full of awkward blush. My eyes trailed down to the Gryffindor's hand to which Draco had been pointing at. I was confused as to what he was referencing. All I saw was Ace's rings; which he wore a lot everyday. I gazed back at the slytherin and shook my head.

"I'm confused," I murmured hesitantly. I felt idiotic because I didn't understand what was going on; Draco and Ace did.

"Well, I knew it was your birthday because that-" he paused and lifted Ace's wrist to show a ring that I had never seen him wear before. "- that ring was picked out by me." Even Ace looked confused at this for a moment.

"Blaise said you only helped," Ace said in his naturally light and gentle tone. His voice was discrete due to him not wanting to draw attention to the situation. My lips parted.

It was all coming together.

"Yes, I helped. But I did most of it. I've got a better sense of style than he does," the blonde boy bragged. "I presume you enjoyed the birthday gift he got you?" He said, staring into Ace's eyes. I could tell that my brother was a bit uncomfortable with the eye contact and the words spilling from Draco's mouth.

"Uhm- well yes. He's a good friend," Ace nodded, his eyes trailing to the floor as if he was unsure of his words.

"Friend? Oh wow. I better tell Blaise you said that," He scoffed and then checked his watch subconsciously. "I don't think he'll be very happy that you friendzoned him." Ace fixed his eyes on the floor when I looked at him.

"Oh. my. God," I mumbled to the point it was barely audible.

"Draco, please. Don't. I just-" Ace started to speak but was immediately cut off by the Slytherin boy.

"Don't want Blaise to find out you lied to him?" He taunted with a devious smile. I looked from the Slytherin to my brother. Ace was not a liar; he never had been. "Please- after he asked you to the dance?"

"I like him, okay?" Ace suddenly hissed in a louder tone than before. He was frustrated at this. "I wasn't going to tell anyone yet! You were the only one who was supposed to know." I wasn't mad that he didn't want to tell me. Yes, we were honest with each other, but Ace had always kept his romantic life to himself. It was upsetting that Draco would say this.

"Let's just go get some butterbeer," I offered to my brother, my hand resting on his arm. A nice sit down with some hot butterbeer in the tavern would be nice. Besides, I think all three of us needed to calm down. Maybe I could even explain some things to Liam.
