More and more campers gathered around, all of them with questions.
"Any sign of Percy?" You asked Annabeth.
Annabeth looked at the ground "No..." You heard her say.
Will came and immediately knew what happened. "Annabeth! I said you could borrow the chariot, not destroy it!"
"Will, I'm sorry. I'll get it fixed, I promise."
Will looked annoyed, but eventually decided to take a look at the new arrivals.
"Hmm... these guys must be older than 13, they should be claimed by now."
"Now who are these new arrivals?" A voice from behind you asks
Ugh, Drew.
"Hey! We didn't ask to be brought here!" The girl with braids stomped
"And nobody wants you, hon." Drew said looking into a tiny pocket mirror and dabbing at her lipstick.
The braid girl looked offended but eventually turned to Annabeth.
"Can you tell me what claiming is?"
You gasped, along with every other camper who was there.
Above the elf boys head was a flaming hammer.
"That, Piper, is claiming." Annabeth said while pointing at him
"What? Is there something in my hair?" The elf asked as he bobbed up and down. You giggled, as it looked like he was trying to make words with the flames.
At one point or another he was running around and tripped, so you decided to help him up.
"Hey, you ok? I didn't catch your name earlier." You said, hoisting him off the ground
He stared at you for a bit until you started blushing. "Oh! Sorry. I'm Leo!" He gave you a toothy grin "What about you?"
"Oh, I'm y/n" You said, blushing.
"Nice to meet you y/n. Like I said, I'm Leo."
"Well, nice to meet you Leo. I hope to see you around camp."
Will came to go and give him the tour, and when he did, you turned around to face the braid girl. Little did you know that while Leo was walking away, he was staring at you from over his shoulder.
