The one bad thing about children of Apollo, dreams. Sure, all demigods have nightmares, but yours are a whole lot worse. They predict the unchangeable future, and the future is set in stone.
Tonight you saw an man, tied to a stake, and standing in a blazing fire. As you got closer, you realized that he was Tristan McLean, the actor. There was a giant, no, earthborn, no. It was just something big. And scary. You wanted to run but you seemed to be stuck to the ground, and it hurt. The big thing noticed you and gradually got closer.
It was like he was a ghost. He was getting faster and starting to scream, louder and louder. Eventually he would be right in your face.
You struggled, only now realizing that you were knee-deep in the ground. The big thing was approaching, now screaming super loud, and flying really fast. You closed your eyes and braced for impact. But it never came. Instead you felt a chill and then, nothing. That must be the dream part. You couldn't physically feel anything.
The big thing turned around, so this time, you screamed, in hopes of waking yourself up. Which happened.
It was morning, and very sunny. That was good. It took you a few seconds to realize that Will had engulfed you in a hug.
"Oh my gods, you're ok! You were screaming in your sleep, everyone's concerned." He said. Then you realized that everyone was standing around your bunk.
"Oh, sorry. Just a bad dream. I'm fine." You fake smiled. "Really, don't worry about me."
You grabbed your bag and left, trembling at the thought of the future.
