This year 2022 was a very busy year for me. I went back to school after two years because of the pandemic, I started high school, I made friends, I started writing in Portuguese, I cried a lot, laughed a lot and most of all, I had a lot of fun throughout the year. Of course, it had its downs, many downs and terrible downs that I still remember today and that make me feel bad. But it also had its ups, which I keep very fondly in my memory and in my heart.
I never imagined getting where I am today, in many aspects, both emotionally, in my life as a writer, artist, in my personal life, but this is all a victory for me, you know? I reached places that Mileny from years and years ago never even imagined she would reach in the future. This year was a year of adaptation, fun and much, much learning and reflection for me. I made mistakes, reflected, acknowledged my mistakes and started making sure they won't happen again. I matured a lot during this year and I hope to be able to evolve and mature much more in the future.
About my journey as a writer here at Wattpad, it's been an amazing year, my life has completely changed. Many new people appeared, who read and liked my stories a lot, left many comments that I loved reading each one of them (which I even laughed a lot), many votes, but mainly, they all became part of my life. I've evolved a lot in my writing and I hope I can do better in the future, it's not bad, but I can definitely improve.
As I said, I never imagined getting this far, I started with a simple and small one-shot, and little did I know that one day I would create a book of one-shots that managed to reach several places around the world. I just have to thank you all, because this would be nothing without you, my audience, my dear readers who are always supporting me and waiting for the next chapter. You are amazing people. And as I said last year, I want to make this book even better, I want to write it for myself and for you.
This is not goodbye. Not even close, but a see y'all in the next chapter.
