Jake had made the decision and already given up his title of Olo'eyktan by the next morning. I knew he was rash, but this was a completely different side of him. Usually he would at least consult with Neteyam or me but he seems to this is the best decision for his family.

At first I thought they would leave me in the forest, by myself or with Mo'at but Neytiri quickly assured me that I would be joining the family in their voyage to the sea people. We had packed and said our goodbyes all in three days, Jake stressing the importance in leaving as soon as we could. Tuk was probably the only one of us who was excited since she didn't quite understand what was happening. At least she somewhat kept the mood light.

When we left, Jake had to swear Toruk Makto would disappear but somehow I knew that could never happen. Someone who has stories told of his greatness doesn't just disappear.

Our journey has been long so far. Three days and three nights of non stop riding on our ikrans has caused restlessness and anger amongst all of us. On the first day the ride wasn't that bad. Lo'ak, Neteyam, Kiri, and I had all been messing around before Jake yelled at us.It had been a fun day with the sun shining and besides the sadness we all felt from leaving all we've ever known.

The second day was when we reached the sea. It had stormed all throughout the day and night, almost throwing us off track at least five times. Tuk had cried for almost the whole day, angering all of us even more.

On the third day we knew our journey was coming to an end. Jake had began signaling to us teenagers to stay close and began giving us lectures on how to act. I knew most of the talk was directed towards Kiri and Lo'ak as they're the moodiest of all of us. I really hadn't been listening to most of what the father was saying to be honest.

We reached the Metkayina clan slowly, Neytiri and Jake signaling to the people of the clan there was visitors. We flew around the village slowly as to not surprise anyone for our landing. People began to gather on a patch of sand so Jake took that as a sign to land there. He told us through our comms to land in an orderly formation which basically means youngest in back and oldest in front. I landed next to Neteyam and Lo'ak, jumping off my ikran and standing between the boys. Both of the boys stayed extremely close to me, clearly unsettled by all the staring eyes.

I looked around at all of the Na'vi near us. They were mumbling between themselves, some even laughing at our appearance. I rolled my eyes at a group of boys around my age laughing before Jake snapped in my direction and told me to behave. He waited for the clan leader to emerge from the water before speaking anymore.

A girl on our right emerged from the water, pulling her long curly hair out of her face as she did so. I noticed Lo'aks eyes linger on her for a few moments as she walked towards us. I let a small smirk show as I elbowed Neteyam and nodded in Lo'aks direction. Neteyam got the hint of what I was trying to say and chuckled a little under his breath.

The girl began yelling at the same boys I rolled my eyes at earlier as the clan leader finally closed in on Jake, doing the familiar gesture of greeting and saying the words that go with it to Jake and Neytiri. Us kids all did the same gesture to the man as well, showing our respect for his leadership.

"Jake Sully, it is an honor to see you," the man said. I looked towards Neteyam who's eyes were already on mine. We shared a nervous glance as the man continued talking. "Tonowari, it is always an honor." Jake stated. I grabbed Neteyam's hand as the obvious Tsahik of this clan began to walk towards her husband. He gave it a reassuring squeeze as the woman then walked towards Neytiri and Tuk. "What is it you need from us Jake Sully?" the man asked. Jake quickly began to explain our arrival. "We seek refuge for our family," he says, pointing between himself and Neytiri. Neytiri's face immediately changes to one of discomfort. She won't like this one bit.
