His Nightmares...

Still Apo's pov:

After we entered the pack house
I saw many weird glances on our way from the pack members ,those
are particularly directed towards me .

" Ignore them they are just curious to know who you are... " Jeff said while carelessly ignoring all their stares.

And one more thing i observed is ,his whole demeanor changed the moment we entered the pack house.

He changed his face to one of those stoic expression less ones.

I think beta mode is on...hmmmm

Then why is he so chilled out with me??
Maybe because i am not a pack member.

that can be the only explanation i could come up with.

Soon,Jeff took me to a luxurious room which looks absolutely breathtaking.

This pack is so generous...maybe I heard it all wrong about this pack.

After Jeff leaves the room, I changed the clothes and went to bed.

while staring outside ,all i could think of is about barcode.is he okay??

" Po ,you and barcode leave immediately  and go to uncle arthee in crystal moon pack,you guys will be safe there.please go son, don't waste anytime.please know dad and mom always loves you both" dad said.

" dad , do you want me to run  like a coward to save my life selfishly while the pack is under attack "

"Apo listen to me son,this is not the time to be stubborn. you have to think about your brother's safety and most importantly yourself.they are here for you son " dad said

Wait...What,they are here for me??why???

Before i ask dad about it,  mom came there with barcode.

And they forcefully sent us both away .

My pack is under attack.instead of letting me protect the pack my dad wants me to run away with my brother.i feel so selfish and pathetic of myself

we gave one last glance towards our parents before started running.

We both didn't know That would be the last time we are seeing them .

I took the hand of barcode and we started running to save our lives.mom and dad are left behind us.

I thought I will first drop barcode at safe house and return to protect the pack and our parents.

That was when we felt a pain in our chest.the bond between our parents and us was broken...that could only mean one thing.

Brother, mom and dad ....barcode couldn't bear the pain of losing our parents he started crying while hugging me...

My heart was broken...it was torn into pieces

Mom...dad.....

"Apo,Apo ..." somebody was calling me

"Apo wake up..." that voice again
I heard.

I startled and woke up.infront of me was non other than Alpha mile.

He is seeing me with an unreadable expression...is that ..concern???

Until then ,i have not realised that my face is all wet with a pool of tears under my eyes.

He gave me a glass of water.. which i gladly took and finished.

After that he came beside me to sit.None of us have spoken anything for a moment.

"Do you want to talk about it??''
he asked me.

I shakes my head as a no.

He understood and did not say anything for which i felt thankful for understanding because what
Happened was not just a nightmare.

It's the ugly truth which ruined mine and barcode lives and i am not ready to share that with anyone and i don't think i ever will be.

I thought alpha mile will leave after that.

He stayed beside me and waited patiently until i felt better.

"I am okay now alpha.you can go now, it's pretty late " i said seeing that time is past one on the bedside alarm clock.

He didn't say anything at  first,

Later while getting up to leave,he said " If you need anything,reach out to me apo ,my room is the one opposite to you, don't think about anything and just sleep.good night" he said switching off the lights.

"And one more thing

Don't call me alpha....call me mile" He said before closing the door.

"Good night mile"  i whispered into the darkness in a low tone ,Before closing my eyes and drifting to a dreamless sleep for the first time after many days.
