It's a chilly day.
I have a cold body if that makes any sense, it's like I am always cold and a slightest increase in the temperature gets me sneezing and have an immediate need for something warm. That's why I make sure I always have my socks on because I read it somewhere that keeping your foot warm helps to increase body warmth.
Anyways I got up feeling jittery at the thought of going to a new academy and stressing over how the new people will treat me. I'll definitely be an outcast as I have been my whole life. I was always bullied back in orchid hollow be it locking me in a bathroom stall or accidentally getting spilled on. It scares me to be the centre of attraction. Mama used to tell me that she wished I was a little bossy along with being kind like her coz she didn't wanted others to take advantage of me, well too late.
I hear a thump as I am getting ready for the day. It's probably dad getting knocked out after having his 5 bottles of bliss. I wear a brown sweater which I have since a long time since it's chilly today, pairing it with a black pant. I put on my glasses it is of less power so it's okay even if I don't wear it but I prefer anyways.
I am feeling very nervous as I walk down the stairs to find dad sleeping in the couch. I silently head towards the kitchen to find anything to eat but there is nothing there guess I'll have to look for a job as fast as I can.
I start walking towards the school, I can see many people my age so I am guessing they too go there so I am just following them. After around 15 mins I spot a diner on the side of the road. Mickey's diner is written over the head board and there is a sign for needing a part timer. I left early so I know I have atleast 10 mins to spare. So I start walking towards the diner, it's already buzzing with people having their breakfast. I make my way towards the reception to find a guy a little older than me there.
"Hi, I wanted to know if there is still a need for a part-timer."
He looks at me and gives me a smile. "Hey there, I am Noah. And yes we are in need of a part timer. I'll just call John over here so he can ask you what all he needs to. John is our boss by the way."
He gives me a flirty wink as I stand there with my cheeks slightly red and freaking out coz he just winked at me.
A little while later a teddy bear comes towards the reception who I am guessing is John. He gives me a warm smile which makes me think of the times when my dad was happy to see me.
He walks towards me and says, "Hey honey, are you new here? I have never seen you before. " I am about to answer when he slightly panics and says "I didn't mean to sound rude if I did it's just that this is a small town everyone knows everyone."
I give him a smile." No it's okay and yes I just got here yesterday with my dad. We'll be staying here from now on."
He beams at me and asks me if I know the basic things like waiting tables, handling the register which I did back at Lisa's.
"We'll that's it. You are good to start honey. See you tomorrow evening then?"
I smile at him. "Thankyou. Yes I'll be here for the shift." I leave the diner feeling very relived at the way my day is progressing.

Erelong academy is a huge building. Scary.
I walk towards the reception to collect my timetable. Ms Miller gives me a warm smile and hands me the timetable wishing me a good day. I try to find the way to my first class which is chem and I am lost.
Yup, I am definitely lost.
I turn back to go through the other way and bump into something hard.
"Oww" holding my arm wincing slightly I lookup at the wall to find it to be a gorgeous man with the most beautiful pair of blue eyes.
Pretty. Really pretty.
Thats the only word that goes on in my mind. I suddenly jerk away from him as I realise how close we were.
He is staring at me in a way no one ever has, I know it's not disgust.
He starts to walk towards me and I stand their frozen. He stands close to me and slightly raise his hands towards my face I flinch slightly to which he frowns a little. But then the next moment he is tucking the loose strand of hair behind my ear and gently patting the side of my head.
His ocean eyes is staring straight through me as if he is entranced.
I am standing there not knowing what the hell is happening and then the gorgeous man in front of me says,
"Sorry there was something in your hair. Hi I am Aiden." And then he gives me the most beautiful smile.
Butterflies. A butterfly attack.

Today is 31/12/2022. The last day of this year. I hope you guys had a great time and if not it's okay I am proud of you for fighting and surving the bad time. You did great!♥️

Which moment comes in your mind as I ask what made you happy this year? I would say I had good amount Me-time which I absolutely love. So it was a win.🦋
