My first thought of the house was...
EWWWWWW!!!
Second thought:
Eh.
The house had the most disgusting carpet IN THE WORLD. It had stains every where, and it was even an ugly color, brown.
Mom just stood there in immortal shock staring at the carpet.
"Isn't it amazing?" exclaimed dad.
Amazing?! How in the world could my own father love this...this....Thing?!
"Ok...ok... calm down..." Mom mumbled. She turned to dad,
"Walk me through the rest of the house."
"Honey, I know it looks bad but..."
"JUST show me the rest of the house Samuel."
Mom must of really hated this carpet because she rarely called dad 'Samuel'
Dad showed us to the kitchen, and then my feelings completely changed about this house.
The kitchen was amazing! It had granite countertops, and a full-blown fridge and even an island! It was also huge! Mom paused and jumped. I stepped back, away from my over excited mother.
"Sam this is amazing! I can see the backyard through he window and there is so much counter space..."
"Oh there's more."
The ugly carpet followed us up the stairs, as dad showed me to my room. This time I was the one with the over excited spell. My room had a freshly painted smell, my favorite! It also had a walk in closet with barn doors.
I stood there in awe, as my parents walked down the hallway. It was literally my dream room, and I never wanted to leave. But I was still interested to see the rest of the house, so I followed Mom and Dad to their bedroom.
Mom stood at the doorway at their bedroom. I peaked over the side of my mother and saw a queen bed and a end table, a closet simular to mine and a really cool bedspread.
"How? How did...did you do this.... with the carpet like that and..."
"I'll explain later, but for now we need to get are furniture in here."
