I walked into the new classroom. It had the scent of blueberries.
I scoped the classroom, looking for anyone I might have known. And I did. May stood in the corner, and looked up at me. She smiled, and motioned me over.
I nodded and walked over.
"Hey we have a class together!" I said excitedly.
"Yeah I know. Hey," she stared at the ground. "I'm sorry I ran off during homeroom. I just really didn't want to...." She looked up, and glanced towards the door.
I turned my head.
3 Bun Girls walked in, each with a scarf around their necks. As they strutted in, Aubrie followed them from behind, holding a large amount of Binders and folders.
"I tried to warn her." May mummbled. She shook her head, and looked back at me.
"This is Mr. Tuckers room. I've heard he's really weird." May said.
Suddenly the door slammed shut. It made me jump a little. A tall skinny man walked into the room, his eyes covered with thin white glasses.
"Welcome to my Home." He said.
Kids around the room started to snicker and whisper. I looked over at May, who was looking straight at Mr. Tucker, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"So, does anyone now how to act when your in someone's home?"
We all looked blankly at him, none of us wanted to answer the questions, but I was pretty positive that everyone knew.
"You are to treat it with respect," he nodded "Would you draw on someone's desk at their home? NO!" He yelled. "Would you put your feet up on their desk? NO!"
We all stared at him. This was the strangest person I have ever met.
"Now that you know how to treat The Home know I can assign you to your thinking stations."
He Spoke our names as quickly as possibe.
"May, Emily, Winston, Aubrie."
He pointed to the seats cocoresponding to our names.
"Janet, Fawn, Carmen, Joel"
He kept calling out names, some people didn't even know where to got while other people went straight to their seats.
May and I hustled to our seats.
We were joined by Aubrie and Winston.
Winston was an ugly little kid, his hair looked like the hair of the Mandark off of Dexter's Laboratory. Zits covered is face, and he had glasses the size of a elephant, and he smeller strongly of smoke.
May looked at me with disgust. I knew she never wanted to be with Winston.
Aubrie stared at me, and I tried to avoid eye contact, but it's hard when someone is staring straight at me. Eventually she started to star at something else. I turned my head to see what she was staring at. The three Bun Girls sat together, smiles plastered across
their faces. They looked back at Aubrie and snickered.
I suddenly forgot everything May had told me about Aubrie. All I knew was that she needed a true friend.
"Hey, Aubrie, is it?" She glanced at me. I saw on the corner of my May's shocked face.
"I'm Emily. I see you have alot of books there. Would you want some help on the way out?"
Her face lite up. "Sure! I could really need some."
May scouled at me. I looked over at her and smiled. She sighed and crossed her arms at her chest.
"Ok now that you have all been assigned to your thinking stations," said Mr Tucker. "it's now time for your first do it at home assignment."
We all gave him dirty looks. No teacher ever gives Homework on the firs day of school.
"Your assignment is to talk to someone you've never talked to."
What
"What does he mean," May whispered to me. Her laughing was contagious. I could help but Giggle with her. Then eventually everone in the room was laughing even Mr. Tucker.
The class bell rang, and I didn't even notice it at first, but Mr. Tucker must of paused time or something and just took a little mental break because for about 2/3 of the class, he just stared at nothing. It was really weird.
But now it was time to go to my next class, and what I don't know is that my next class would change my life forever.*Hey, if your enjoying the book, please consider following me for more things like this and all my randomness.
