The hallways were chaos. Me and Anna barely got out of it alive.
We arrived at the Library and there were some people I recognized. There was Ava and Bella from Gym, and I saw Winston, who was the one that May wasn't very fond of.
We choose our table and sat down.
"So," Anna asked "Who's homeroom are you in?"
"Butcher." I repiled.
"Ah, that's a shame. I have Bosel." She said. "We are on different sides."
"HaHa," I laughed nervously. "You should be glad you don't have Mr. Tucker. He is strange as Heck." I said.
"Ms. Bosel is really nice, but she can be strict at times..."
"Wow, you found that out with only one day of being with her?"
"I....I...Umm..." Anna stuttered.
"What? Did I say something wrong..."
"How did you know?!" She sneaked under her breath.
"Know what?" I replied.
"That...." She paused and changed the subject. "Um...Do are you enjoying it here?"
I looked at her with disbelief. "You brought it up so just tell me what you were going to say."
"I....I'm Gina's...I mean Ms. Bosel's Sister...." She muttered quietly.
"What????" I whispered loudly.
"Not many people know except you and Jazzy..." She noted quietly.
Suddenly an announcement blared onto the loudspeaker.
"Attention Mrs. Marty is in the building. I repeat Mrs. Marty is in the building." The voice said.
Anna's eyes went wide. She grabbed my arm and pulled me fast through the wave of people.
"Anna...? What's going....?"
"Shhhhhhhh!!!" She hissed under her breath.
I eventually got pulled to a small corner of book selves and was sat down by Anna.
"If anything happeneds, I want you to run." She whispered under her breath.
"Run as far away from here as you can."
"What even is going..." I heard the crashing of doors shutting.
The whole room went silent.
Suddenly the noise was broken with some yelling and screaming near the office. I cringed, and burried my face into my knees. Anna grabbed my arm and squeezed tight.
Suddenly The screaming seized.
We sat in silence for a long time, at least 20 minutes.
Anna and I sat in silence sharing encouraging glances here and there.
The speaker blared to life with an announcement.
"Thank you all for your patience. I am calling this lockdown off. We are safe now." The principal annonced.
"Oh...Thank goodness...." Anna mumbled. She looked my way. "Are you ok?"
"Wow, my first day of school and this happens..." I awkwardly laughed.
"This never ever ever happens, Emily. Dont get to caught up in it. This is the first time we've had a real lockdown." Anna said trying to cheer me up.
We heard claps from the librarian.
We repeated her claps.
"Class...Some of our time had been wasted...so please go to the lunch room."
We all shuffled out of the library and down the hall to the lunchroom.
"Hey....Emily I would really like it if you would sit with us at lunch..." Anna mutted.
"Um...Well I'm kind of already been taken..." I replied.
Her face drooped, but picked up with a smile.
"Its ok! Maybe some other time."
I frowned but nodded as we walked silently to the lunch room.------------------------------------------------------
