The projector-headed creature swayed towards me as I froze in horror. The lost ones immediately disappeared, except for the one who brought me the ink hearts. I took the ink hearts from the lost one, then one of the fleeing lost ones grabbed me as she teleported through the ink splattered walls. I took one last glance at the lost one who brought me the ink hearts, but he was pinned against the wall, choking. And that's the moment when I returned to the infirmary.

The ink hearts writhed in my palms, making me nauseous. But I remained calm. A black bruise formed on my sepia-toned shoulder. The ink hearts are still beating, I can somehow feel them. And so is my own heart. I can't help but wonder, did it turn into an ink heart too? I heard a gasp coming from one of the infirmary beds. It's definitely Susie Angel.

I saw her silhouette tossing and turning, her half-perfect lips muttering something inaudible. I don't know why, but I kinda want to see her in a softie situation. I sat next to her and pondered on the many ways to salvage her relationship with Sammy.

  "Susie?" I purposefully asked.

"Call me Alice." is her haughty reply. She seemed more confused than anything, but she's still as intimidating. I got closer to her, and spoke. "I...Have something for you. Hope they satisfy you." The single eye opened with some curiosity. I revealed the wooden box as she sat up. "You should open it." I told her. She accepted the box with her jet black, opera glove-like hands. The lid was opened, and her eyes narrowed.

"You can't get something with nothing." She stated. "If I accept this, does it mean I owe you something?" Wow. She saw right past my intentions. But thankfully, I did not take drama lessons for nothing. "It's...Just an alliance offering." I explained. "I thought it could be safer if the three of us stick together?" I tried to act all innocent and such.

Susie...Fine. I'll call her Alice. She looked at me in a hostile way. "Do I look like a fool to you?" she questioned, her voice was harsh. My mind started spiralling. Then the hint of a smile started crawling up my face. And she noticed it.

"What are you smirking at?" She hissed in annoyance. "Aren't you opening that box first?" I deadpanned. She finally did what I expected. "Why?" Staring at the ink hearts, she suddenly asked. I rolled my eyes. "I told you. It's an alliance offering. Are you in now?" She lets out a sigh. "Sammy Lawrence...What did I ever see in him?"

In order to persuade her, I decided to add something more...enticing. "I want to restore your perfection." To be honest, I genuinely want to do so. She's one of my favorite characters after all.

And of course this wasn't enough. She scoffed. "A mere guest in the ink realm, someone I have never known, how can you do so? What are your...motives?" She then looked at the ink hearts again, and grabbed my wrist like a tight iron cuff. "And how dare you peer into an angel's private matters? You are certainly unworthy of bargaining with me, you insolent, cheeky-" That's when I cut her off.

"Insolent, cheeky guest who wanted nothing but to restore your perfection? And you are clearly not over Sammy. Do you think I never listened to your tape records?" I felt her grip loosen, then tighten again. "I am quite a nosy person, I must admit, but I really wanted the best out of you two...You are an instant fan of Sammy, I recall? Well, good news, I am an instant fan of you!"

And I never expected her to break down that easily in front of a chaotic fangirl like me.

That's how I got Susie/Alice Angel on my side too. I'm thinking of giving her an Alice Angel plushie. But then I realized the fact that Sammy disappeared. the words on the wall are not complete.
