Her raspberry lipstick tasted sweet. And that's when Susie pulled away, and Sammy noticed not just the fabric rose sewn on one side of her suspenders. There was slice of chocolate cake sitting atop his piano. Susie smiled mischievously. She knew Sammy hated it when food is on his piano, but she also knew that Sammy couldn't get mad at her since they have been together for so long. She then pulled out a lighter and lit the candle.
The chocolate cake was quite intricately designed, with lava like filling and a white chocolate decoration molded into a music sheet with Bendy's head. And the icing was, of course, chocolate.
"Miss Campbell, I don't think my piano is the most appropriate location for food to be placed." Sammy feigned annoyance as Susie pulled him into a hug. Her lips curled into another smile.
"Well, Well, Mr. Lawrence, I accept you professional criticism," she joked, "But I don't think reprimanding your girlfriend is a great way to set the atmosphere of your birthday." If he's going to call her "Miss Campbell", then she might as well call him Mr. Lawrence. She proceeded to stab a chunk off the slice, and Sammy grabbed the fork teasingly, taking a bite of the rich velvety texture of the chocolate cake. They exchanged a few bites, as the bell finally rang for the end of work day.
Both of them are unaware of Arlene staring outside of the door with immense interest and satisfaction.
Hearing the bell, Arlene smiled innocently, opened the door, and chimed in:
"You know, I baked more for the weekend."
I finished designing Susie's work dress!
