Tara was settled down on her bed "call the doctor! Quick!!" Harshat never panicked like this for someone before, he felt as if she is gonna soon disappear.
The treatment needed her to be held at a certain angle so that the medicine could be applied properly. Harshat took her in his arms and laid her head on his neck
Before that he ordered everyone else in the room to go outside. "I am sorry for touching you without your permission " He whispers and unbutton her blouse.
The sting from the medicine made her scratch his back hard, leaving marks. The treatment was done " Let the queen rest for atleast few weeks before letting her do any kind of work" the doctor said and left. He laid her down and went away.
...........
Tara woke up and was all good right now, what she needed was enough rest.
From the servants she heard about how the king helped her and was so worried about her, but what made her want to meet him is that she heard that she scratched his back hard and it was bleeding.
Soon enough she reached his room"ahem" she cleared her throught. Harshat was looking at a painting " What do you want?" He asked politely this time. "Is this how you treat the person who saved you?" She teased him "no one told you to play the hero" He argued back.
Tara came inside " anyway, I am not here to argue with you. Sit down, I heard I scratched you back, I will put on some medicine " " I can do that myself" He urged "I don't need anyone's favor! Just sit down".
After some here and there he finally agreed. He sat down on his bed, backfacing Tara , Tara took the medicine and gently massaged it on the wound.
As she was done putting on the medicine , she noticed a familiar painting, Harshat noticed Tara too, before he could take the painting, Tara took it.
She was shocked when she opened it " What is my lost childhood painting doing here in your room?!"
..................................................
