A New Journey

4. A Performance and training

sorry it took longer than I thought to write the Chapter. Mainly because i was Ill for Three days.  I hope you will Enjoy the following Chapter.

Ash was getting ready for the elite four. He had two months to get his team to the best version of them self. He also made some changes after the match against Alain. First to go was Talonflame he got exchanged for Charizard. Hawlucha got exchanged for Septile and last was Noivern which got exchanged for Snorlax. Ash gave Charizard the Charizardite Z which he got as a present from Zygarde after the team Flare incident. They started with a rigorous training program starting at six o'clock in the morning they went to the training ground behind their hotel. They started with a one hour run around the training ground then they continued with 3 vs 2 handicap match, with Pikachu, Septile, Snorlax, Greninja and Goodra meanwhile Charizard and Ash started Mega training with Korina and her Mega Lucario. At the same time Serena started her training with Miette and Shauna. The three-performer trained for their live Performance in the centre of Lumiose City. They trained for one combined performance. where Serena uses Braixen, Miette uses Slurpuff, and Shauna uses Ivysaur. At the start of the training nothing really worked. Serena and Miette often got at each other throat and Shauna needed to negotiate between the two strong minded female. After three days they finally found a routine which they all could agree on. They all started on their own single performances and before they knew it was already Friday afternoon the day before the performance and all decided to go home early. Serena and ash haven't seen each other since the party, which made Serena sad she was reminiscing her journey on the balcony of her hotel room.

Serena

I was standing on the balcony leaning against the railing looking over the skyline of Lumiose City thinking of this great journey. How it all started just because I saw ash on the TV and just wanted to see the boy which saved me in the summer camp. I used the handkerchief as an excuse and was unbelievable happy when he invited me to join him, Clemont, and Bonnie. While thinking further of the events which have unfolded after we left for the journey. While thinking a known voice waked me out of my reminiscing.

"Hey Serena, why are you out here you could catch a cold?" the boy asked with a concern tone in his voice

"Oh ash! you startled me. I'm just reminiscing about our journey" I stated with a little blush on my face

"Why is that?" he asked me still a little hint concern in his voice

"I think it's because my nervousness before tomorrow's performance. Its my first performance as Kalos queen and I am not sure if I deserve this title" I answered unsure of myself

"don't be silly! Of course you deserve the title. I knew it the second you stepped of the stage. I didn't even had to see Aria's Performance." Ash answered

"How can you even judge the performance?" I asked him with a small hint of unsureness in my voice

"Serena you aren't my first female companion who is interested in performing, while it has another name in other regions it follows same basis and I saw many of them, so I know how to judge them. Your final performance in the masterclass was fantastic I even would call it perfection."

At the start of ash's statement I felt jealousy that ash mentioned his other female companions but at the end of his statement I felt my face blushing like hell of ash's praising words. The only words which came out where "thank you, Ash." After catching my composure I asked ash simply "how is your training going?"

"Pretty well actually. my team is getting along increasingly with each other. Goodra and Greninja are fitting in well. The only problem is mega Charizard he does not really understand his new typing and how to use it" ash answered
