Jay rolls his eyes as he watches his best friend, Jake, skip into their work place 15 minutes late with the biggest smile on his face. "You're late. Again, Jaeyun" he says with utter annoyance but Jake pays it no mind as he makes his way behind the counter.

"I know, what would I do without my bestest friend, Seonggie, who loves me so much?!" Jake smiles, Jay tries to hide smile by rolling his eyes again. He sees the younger going to clock in but stops him "No need... this time. But I won't do it again" he says.

Jake's smile widens when he kisses Jay's cheek making the older blush "Oh, Seonggie. That's what you said the last time!" Jake happily reminds him. "Well... I mean it this time, Jake" Jake nods with mock seriousness and they start working.

When they finish their shift, they start to make their way home so they can try to do their homework, well Jay is anyway. "Come on, Jake! We still have time to do our homework before sleeping! You need to hurry or I'm leaving you!" Jake pouts at the older.

He moves a little faster "Seonggie! Do we have to?! I'm just gonna get it wrong anyway and get scolded still" Jay rolls his eyes. "I'll stay the night and help you if you hurry up" without Jay noticing Jake's eyes light up as he runs to the older, who is locking up.

"Fine! You're spending the night and buying the food" Jake says as they start walking, Jay just pats the smaller's head and hums in response. When they make it to Jake's house they first knock on their neighbor's door only to receive no answer.

"Hee must be out somewhere" Jay nods in agreement. "We can see him tomorrow, stop trying to distract us!" Jake whines as he opens his door to be greeted by his parents. "Hello, kids" Mr. and Mrs. Sim greet the two not even bothering to ask if Jay is staying the night.

After taking off their shoes they race up to Jake's room to now be greeted by Jake's dog, Layla. Jake pats her head before she jumps on Jay licking him all in his face. Jake pouts "I'm concerned, why does my dog like you more than me?" Jay laughs.

"Okay! Okay!" He says calming the dog down before turning to Jake "We have homework to do" At first Jay forced Jake to sit at his desk and work but the younger soon convinced him of a snack break and Jay couldn't get him to focus again after.

So he gave up. "You know, Jakey. We're in our senior year you should really have more self discipline" Jake blows raspberry. "I'll be fine, I have you" he says eating his second bowl of ramyeon that of course, Jay made. "I won't always be here, Jake"

"Why not?!" Jake says loudly, making Jay look at him "You're always here so just shut up!" He forcefully sits down his bowl and goes to sulk on his bed. He waited until he finishes his work to comfort the younger and to give him space to cool.

Jake got like that with Jay sometimes, they'd known each other their entire lives, came out to each other and even shared their first kiss together. Jake was right when he said Jay was always there and in turn he'd become dependent on Jay and you guessed it.

Yes, Jake has the fattest crush on Jay which made him even more dependent on the older. Jay was always there to cook for him, help with homework, play with him, get him out of trouble, hold him when he had nightmares, for everything.

Jay finally made his way to the younger "Come on, Jakey. Go shower while I clean up, so we can sleep" Jay says softly and the younger silently listens to his order. When Jake is done he goes back into his original position on his bed next to the wall.

When Jay is done he turns off the lights and gently gets in the younger's bed. "Jakey" he softly calls "Jakey... I'm sorry for upsetting you earlier but in the future-" Jake quickly turns over quieting the older. "I don't care about the future, you're still here right now so don't say stuff like that"

Even with little light Jay could see Jake eyes gloss with the tears he's trying to hold back "Okay. I won't talk about it anymore" Jake just stares at him, his thick lips slightly quivering "Hugs?" Jay says and Jake gives in a few minutes later.

"You sound like those movies, where the main character is bound to lose someone they love" Jake mumbles into Jay's chest "And I hate those movies" Jake says. "I know. We won't think about it anymore, let's sleep" Jay says stroking Jake's hair.

The next morning Jay peels himself away from Jake, waking up fifteen minutes earlier because the younger is prone to lazing around, making them late to school when he doesn't. When he finishes with himself, he makes his first attempt to waking Jake.

"Jakey, come on. It's time to get up for school, kiddo" he says before walking to the Sim's kitchen to take out ingredients for breakfast. After he makes his way back up to Jake's room to find him asleep, slumped against the wall.

"Jake, get up. Will ya? We're going to be late at this rate" he says this time going downstairs to start breakfast, something simple and easy that he can turn the down to wake up Jake for a few minutes. "JAEYUN! WERE LATE! GET YOUR ASS UP!"

Jake jolts up, his eyes popping open as he sighs "Dang it, Seonggie is going to be mad if we're late again" when in reality they still have thirty minutes till they have to leave the house but a scared Jake only takes 15 minutes. "Seonggie! I'm ready!"

He yells running down the stairs only to be met with a calm Jay who is setting the table. "Good. Now you have 15 minutes to eat before we need to leave" Jay smiles at him. Jake rolls his eyes before sitting at the table grumbling as Layla trots her way to him.

"You made me wake the poor princess" Jay pouts before feeding the dog and sitting to eat himself. Right before they start leaving Jay grabs a sticky note. "What's that for?" Jake asks. "For mom and dad, so they know where their food is" he says.

Jake smiles at Jay fondly, Jay really knows how to fill Jake's domestic needs.
