Niki was rolling his eyes again, he just remembered that the nurse always went on break after lunch, not needing the nurse often, it didn't cross his mind. All of this meant, he would be the one to take care of Sunghoon's wounds and bruises. He didn't mind too much but still now he had no late pass back to class.

Sunghoon for one, did remember this rule right when they entered the office. He was happy, He knew Niki would stay and help him. He wished that they could be close again, well at least on Niki's end, Sunghoon still considered Niki a close friend... and more. "Why don't you like my friends?" Niki asks.

Sunghoon sighs, he'd never told Niki anything he knew, heard or saw that caused him to dislike his friends and he didn't plan to. He wanted Niki to trust him. "I just dont like them. They're not good people" He really didn't want Niki to have to find out in a bad way but wouldn't it be just as bad if he told Niki?

"Niki, I care about you. I never stopped and I don't want you to get hurt? You have to trust me" Sunghoon pleads, Niki dabs under his eye causing him to hiss at the pain. "Sorry... Sunghoon, I want to trust you like I used to but you won't even give them a chance. You've never even tried to hang out with us"

Sunghoon sighs, looking into Niki's eyes with love as the younger plainly stares back. "Do you want to tell me who did this now?" Niki asks.

"You like someone?" Jake nods " Okay... who is it?" Jay asks staring intensely at the younger who immediately blushes and looks away. His brain kept internally screaming 'ITS YOU, SEONGGIE! ITS YOU, SEONGGIE! ITS YOU, SEONGGIE! ITS YOU, SEONGGIE!' but Jake kept calm, tried to anyway.

"I- I don't want to tell you yet or him" Jay was a bit taking aback by Jake's answer. He'd never thought Jake would like anyone ever and that Jake would stay by him forever but if he did, Jay thought it would be him not even in a narcissistic way. It crossed his mind a few times though.

What would he do if Jake confessed that he liked him? Would he be able to respond or return his feelings? Would he even consider it? He did have feelings for Jungwon though but nobody knows. But wouldn't that be Jay going out with Jake just because Jake likes him? Jake wouldn't want that.

Nor did he deserve that. Sure the two knew each other better than anyone even themselves and they fit each other well but Jay didn't even know when or why he likes Jungwon, would that really be enough to keep Jake and himself happy in the relationship?

Jay shook his head, Jake didn't like him, he thought. He was thinking too much anyway. "Oh okay... well do I at least know him?" Jay tried again. Jake paused, if he said yes what would Jay think? Of course Jay knew him. He knew him quite well because Jay is him. Okay maybe he shouldn't say that.

"Yeah you do" Jay thought for a bit, Jake knew a lot of people that Jay didn't but he knew a few. There was Jungwon but... Jay really hoped it wasn't him. It wasn't Sunghoon, that asshole. "How's you're head?"  Jay asks. "It's fine. Doesn't hurt as much anymore" Jake replied. "I'll get you some ibuprofen"

Maybe it was Heeseung, Jay noticed the very obvious favoritism Jake was shown by the older to an extent. But did Heeseung like Jake? Some people just have their favorites and that was it. Jake did meet him first before a Jay did as he was technically Jake's neighbor. But if it's not Heeseung then is it....

Could it be Niki? Jay was definitely going find out the day after tomorrow. He hoped they were good.

Heeseung was on his way home when he was walking past Jay and Jake's place of work. He was hoping to see the youngest but neither were there. He checked to see the time to see if he was early but he was not. He knew that must've stayed home and decided to visit them there.

However someone exited the shop not too far in front of him, as they were walking an old lady was basically tumbling their way getting ready to bump into the boy ahead of him. He rushed bumping the boy ahead of him and caught the older woman before she could spill what she was holding.

"Are you okay, ma'am?" Heeseung asks helping her up, she nods in gratitude. "Yes, thank you young man" she says wobbling upright before thanking Heeseung again and wobbling away. He hoped she didn't fall somewhere else when he remembered the boy in front of him, well behind him now.

He turned around to see him dusting himself off. When he looked up, Heeseung thought he had the most chubby bunny like cheeks with pretty cat eyes. "What the hell?! You made me spill my coffee!" He said angrily gesturing to the spilled coffee on the ground before sighing deeply.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't want the lady to spill her stuff on you and have her hurt herself either. I can buy you another coffee. Are you hurt anywhere?" Heeseung says. The boy sighs again but his eyes soften and he's not too angry anymore. "Oh, well thank you for that but... I did want some coffee"

Heeseung nodded and led the boy back into Jake and Jay's work place to wait in line. Heeseung glanced at the smaller boy next to him, he seemed pretty down about the coffee. "I'm really sorry about your coffee, I really was trying to help" Heeseung says again but this time the boy shook his head.

"No, im sorry. I overreacted the coffee wasn't as good as it usually was anyway. It's just... my day wasn't to good either. I was looking for someone at my school but he wasn't there which I knew he wouldn't be because he needs to rest but still I shouldn't have cursed at you" the boy explains.

"It's okay, everyone has their bad day every now and then" the boy nods. "If it weren't for you though it would've been worse so again thank you" Heeseung nodded as they made it to the counter. After buying the young boy a new drink, they bid each other goodbye without getting each other's name.

Heeseung had to admit the boy was pretty cute with his chubby bunny cheeks but Jake was cuter. Eventually he made his way to the said boy's house and knocked. He answered with Jay in the background on his couch. "Seunggie, you came just in time! My parents aren't coming back tonight so I was gonna cook, would you like to join us?"

Heeseung tries his best not to roll his eyes at Jay's presence by looking at Jake "I'll help you, Jaeyunnie" Heeseung says walking in. "Hey, Heeseung" Jay waves and he waves back with slight discomfort before following Jake into his kitchen.

an: don't know if I should start these now but I might not update tmmr but the next day. I also gotta find a way to get Heeseung more story time since he's just a neighbor and doesn't go to school with them. Also I try an update everyday, I publish the chapters immediately after I write them which is usually the same day or a day after. I rlly hope I won't have a hard time writing any time soon and that I don't forget bc I am working on other stuff along with this
