Jay and Jake were walking down the hallway together, from Jay's perspective. To Jake, the older seem to be following him around while he ignored him, not paying attention. Jake was on his phone while Jay was going on and on about something.

When Jay suddenly stopped him. "What?!" Jake says with visible annoyance in his voice, Jay brushes it off. Jake had been acting like the for a couple of days now "Look, it's Niki-" "I'm going to class Jay. I don't want to be late, I can talk to him later"

And with that Jake walked away, Jay just sighs before turning back to the younger boy. Sunghoon was just leaving him by his locker when two guys from the varsity basketball team came up to him. They seem to be saying mean things to him so he got closer to hear them better.

"... we will beat your ass kid" one says as Niki gulped with fear in his eyes despite being taller than them, he was still just a kid. "Just quietly join the JV with the other kids, kay?" Niki backed up from them. "But-but I earned that spot on varsity-" he stuttered. "You wanna earn a beating too?!" Jay had heard enough.

"NIKI!" He yells getting all of their attention and the two players scurry off leaving Niki to Jay. "Niki what's going on? Are they bully-" Niki immediately shakes his head. "No they're not! I just irritated them that's all-" Niki tried to say but Jay wasn't believing him. "Look Niki if your in trouble-"

"I'm not! I-I'm not. I need to go to class, Jay. I'll see you later" the younger says before walking away. Jay couldn't understand why people kept leaving him behind today as the bell rang meaning he was late. He sighed and dragged himself to class.

Lunch

Niki and Sunghoon walk in the together when the older suddenly stops, his vision set on their table that was currently occupied by the varsity team. Sunghoon let's out a low growl about to approach them when Niki puts weak hand on his arm. "Please don't, Sunghoon" he whispers making the older sigh.

"Please don't pick a fight with them. You'll get in trouble, let's just go" Niki pleads. "Where are we going to eat Niki?!" Sunghoon says, a little too loudly, annoyed. "We can go outside or to the library" Sunghoon turns to the younger with a soft glare before walking back to the entrance.

"Come on! It's fucking freezing outside"

Jay, who had been watching Niki a lot closer since the incident earlier, had seen Niki and Sunghoon and turned back to Jake and Jungwon. The two had been talking to each other since they sat down not including Jay. "Guys! I think something is wrong with Niki" he says trying to get there attention.

Jungwon turns to Jay making him blush a little "Maybe, I'll talk to him later" He says before turning back to Jake. "Just because he's hanging out with Sunghoon and not you doesn't mean something is wrong" Jake says before turning to Jungwon "but I'll go with you to check on him, Wonnie" he says.

"Okay!" Jungwon says excited while Jay looks at Jake confusedly. "I didn't say that but Sunghoon is-" Jay didn't get to finish because Jake continued his conversation with Jungwon, now Jay was becoming angry with Jake. Jake had been giving Jay ton of attitude for a few days now for no reason.

At least that's what he thought. Meanwhile Jungwon was too caught up in the joy of Jake's attention to pay attention to the oldest's anger. This is the most Jake had talk to him during the lunch period and he was enjoying every bit of. He loved listening to Jake's laugh after he told a corny joke to him.

"Are gonna tell me how long this will last?" Sunghoon asks the younger. "What?" "You making me hide in the library with you?" Niki glares at him. "I didn't make you do anything, Sunghoon. You chose to come with me" Sunghoon rolls his eyes. "How long will you let them scare you?"

"I'm not. I just don't want to get in trouble" Niki says. "Then what is the point of stopping me? I don't care if I do, those kids need a good beating anyway for underage drinking" Sunghoon scoffs. "You don't need to be getting in trouble either, you're a senior" Niki says "besides..." Sunghoon looks at him.

"You just being around me is enough to ward them off" Niki says. "Yeah that's when I'm around you. But when I'm not? I need to do something" Sunghoon says. "No. Nothing will happen, I won't let them" Niki says making the older groan. "That's what you fucking said the last time and look where we are"

Niki flinches as his whispered yet angry tone "Okay... okay. I'll figure out something that won't get either of us in trouble" Sunghoon scoffs not looking at the younger anymore. "Whatever" he says and continues eating when Niki lays his head on shoulder with a sigh making him blush.

Jake and Jay had their last class together and the bell was just ringing and Jay was about to ask Jake if he was going to walk home with him but Jake stormed out not even looking back at him. The older growled at his disappearing figure before going to catch up with him. "Jakey! Jake!" He calls.

After a while the younger slows down and allows Jay  to cat h up with him. "Jake... what is your problem?!" Jay asks. "Oh now you ask Jay!" Jake says not looking at him. "I've been trying to talk to you for days now! You've been ignoring me" Jay says making Jake roll his eyes.

"No you didn't, you never tried once to ask 'hey Jakey? what's wrong? Are you okay? What's bothering you?!" Jake yells back. Jay sighs "Okay... Jakey, what's bothering you?" Jay asks with a new calm tone. "When I was sick, you just left me and you didn't even tell me. You just left me with Seunggie!"

"After I gave you the medicine you went right back to sleep so I made you soup and I didn't leave you alone I left you with Heeseung, your friend" Jay says. "But your my best friend and you always take care of me. I don't like that you didn't tell me that you were leaving me" Jake says in a soft sad tone

"Jakey... I had to leave" Jay sighs. "I believe you but next time will you text me if you have to leave me. At least let me know you care about me" Jay gave him a small smile before hooking his arm over the younger's shoulder. "Okay. Just promise not to be mean to me anymore" Jake gives a cheeky nod.

The Next Day

Jungwon was still happy off of his high from yesterday with Jake and now he was heading to meet with Heeseung to tell him about it. When they met up Heeseung seemed to be elated too. They both sat down with big goofy grins on their faces. "I'm so glad you have good news to share because I do too!"

"Well I'm too excited to share so I'll go first!" Jungwon exclaims. "For the past couple of days I've been spending more time with my crush! His laugh and giggle is so adorable. Heeseung... he really makes me happy" Jungwon says with a far away smile on his face and a sigh.

"I'm so happy for you. But it's kind of crazy because I have the same news, my crush even spent the night once!"

I'm sorry it took a while but I was really stuck on the last chapter cause I had left it for too long and then when I went back to it I was still stuck which is why it's so short but everything is good now. Also the chapter for such a thing will be short also but the next one will be better!!
