Jungwon was at home spinning around in a chair with surveillance footage paused on his computer. He was stumped. He went and gave everyone hope that he could prove Niki's innocence but here he was in his room with no hope of this happening. He felt terrible. He needed witnesses but no one was willing.

Apparently, everyone is afraid of the senior on the team named Na Wuijoon because his dad is someone super important or whatever. Jungwon thought it was stupid, everyone was equal no
matter the background when right is right and wrong is wrong.

The footage he has isn't even that good since they're legally unallowed to have cameras in locker rooms and bathrooms so there's only footage of the doorway and the audio is terrible, you can hear the voices but the dialect is not clear. "Hey! Still stuck on this video, huh?" Jungwon's cousin asks.

"Hey, hyung. Yeah I am... by the way where did you go today?" Jungwon asks. "I went out. Anyways, do you need help with that video or the situation in general?" He asks. "No! I'm gonna figure it out. I told Niki I would so I will" Jungwon says. "Well if you ever need help let me know" he says before leaving and Jungwon sighs.

How was he going to figure this out?

Jake didn't mean for it to happen, but he started crying as he was unlocking the door to his home. "Jaeyunnie...? What's wrong?" Jake sighs moving his keys faster to get inside, he was so embarrassed right now. "It's no-nothing, Seunggie. I'll talk to you later?" He says still messing with the lock.

He growls in frustration "okay but, are you sure you're okay? You're cry-" Heeseung starts but Jake unlocks the door "I'm fine!" Jake yells before going inside his home, quickly closing the door behind himself with a deep breathe. He just couldn't understand why Jay was acting like this?

Why was Jay ignoring him all of a sudden? What could Jake have possible done for Jay to blatantly ignore like he's not there? He literally just told him he wouldn't do it again? What the hell happened to that? Jake was full on sobbing at this point.

He missed his Seonggie, sure he could've stuck around to ask him why he was ignoring him but Jake wouldn't be able to take the answer, he knew, no matter what it was. Maybe he was being selfish but wasn't Jay being so also? Just ignoring Jake for no reason, like Jake's feelings didn't matter to him.

Were they really growing apart like Jay said?

The Next Day

Jay woke up at about 10, he decided to wear his glasses. He looks in the mirror as he puts them, usually when he puts them on he feels repulsed, but today he felt a bit handsome in them. He takes them off and begins his morning routine and shower.

It was still on the colder side outside so he decides to wear a brown jacket and white shirt with some jeans and air forces. It was a tad bit off from his usual, dressy style, but he wanted to tone it down and not scare him off. It was just a regular hangout that's it.

Then he finally put his glasses back on and made his way to his job. To his surprise, Jungwon was already there. They were both pretty early. "Oh... you're also early" Jay comments and Jungwon nods before chuckling. "I didn't want to 'be on time' and have you panic if I didn't make it in time thinking I wasn't coming" Jungwon explains.

Jay blushes in embarrassment "I... I wouldn't have-" Jungwon laughs. "Look at you, can't even get it out" he says "You seem like the anxious type" he says and Jay sighs in defeat, knowing the younger is right. "Do you... want something from here?" He asks instead.

"If you want to" Jungwon shrugs before remembering who he was with "I mean yes. Let's get something from here" he says quickly and Jay nods. "Okay... I'll pay"  Jungwon nods in agreement. "So... how was yesterday for you?" Jungwon asks first. "It was... good. I didn't do much just laid in bed, how about you?" Jay answers.

"Ugh... it was stressful, if I didnt have to go out in public I would've pulled my hair out in big clumps" Jungwon groans. "Why?" Jay asks with much concern. "I told Niki that I would try my best to prove his innocence and I meant it but this is just proving things are easier said than done"

"Is there any way I could help?" Jay asks but Jungwon shakes his head with a sigh. "I don't see how, no one is willing to speak on Niki's behalf. They're all too afraid of stupid Na Wuijoon" Jungwon grumbles and Jay frowns, confused. "Who is that?" He asks. "Exactly! I think he's the principal's son or something dumb"

"So no one is willing to help because they're afraid the principal will scold them or something?" Jungwon shrugs. "I guess so" he says. "You know something even scarier than that" Jay says. "I'm listening" Jungwon says. "Someone who doesn't give a shit" Jay says. "I'm confused, what are you saying?"

"I'm saying, and hear me out, Sunghoon. Sunghoon can help you" he says. Jungwon's eyes harden in anger. "No. Anything is better than asking that asshole for help of any kind" Jungwon says. "Listen, I don't like him either but this is about Niki not us and I've seen it first hand, that asshole cares about Niki, a lot. He won't give you a hard time, he'll help"

Jungwon's rolls his eyes and orders his drink, Jay follows suit. They move out of the line, waiting to the side. Neither saying anything. Jungwon didn't consider Sunghoon. He won't consider him and if he was being completely honest he didn't even really forgive him for harming Jake.

He was only being 'cordial' for Niki's sake. When their drinks arrived neither said anything still. Jay was too nervous to and Jungwon simply had nothing to say that wouldn't hurt Jay's feelings. Not that he wanted to hurt his feelings, he was there to have a better relationship with the older, for Jake.

Jungwon sighs. "I'll hear you out. But I refuse to consider it. How would Sunghoon be useful me helping Niki?" Jungwon asks as calmly as he could. "Um..." Jay was a bit bummed, he was hoping to talk to about the dance coming up but he took too long.

"Well...we just have to put his intimidating aura to use"
