Jay and Jake did not go to school today per to Jake's request obviously. This is how it went:

"Jake, get up. Let's get ready for school" Jay said getting ready to go downstairs but to his surprise Jake got up. "I knew you were going to try this, Seonggie. Sit down, don't even think about cooking with those hands!" Jake demanded and Jay sat with a sigh. "We're going to school" Jay argues.

"No we're not. What if you re-injure your hands? and what if I faint at school get a bigger bruise? This isn't a good idea, Seonggie. I promise when we go back I will be responsible for getting all of our missing work, okay?" Jake says to the older but he isn't convinced yet. "No. If you want to stay home then-"

"Then who will take care of me?! Who will make sure I don't die if I nap?!" Jake says, putting on one of the best acts of his life "Besides, your notes won't be any good if you can't even properly hold a pencil, hmm? Seonggie, please just stay?!!!" Jake begs. Jay rolls his eyes but does consider Jake's points.

As usual, he gives in. "Fine!" Jake cheers happily until Jay glares at him. He immediately stops and begins to say his head hurts "uhm... ow!" Jay sighs making his way to the younger's bed. "Let me see it" he says going to touch Jake's head. It was still red just not as bright

"maybe don't sleep on your back tonight, Jakey" Jake gives him a thumbs up. After putting ointment on Jake's swollen head, they sit in thought. "So... since you refuse to let me cook... what are we going to eat?" Jay finally says, which makes Jake smile brightly. "I will cook for us!" Jake says proudly.

Jay almost couldn't hide the skepticism on his face "Are you sure?" Jake nods, standing up. "With your guidance of course" Jay opens his mouth in a oh shape before nodding and standing up with Jake. "Makes sense, now" Jake glares at him before dragging the older downstairs to the kitchen.

"Uhm... okay... I'll teach you something simple. How bout... pancakes and bacon, hmm?" Jake looks around for the ingredients before replying. "Okay sounds good" Jake nods in agreement placing the ingredients down. "Do you think you can cook both at the same time? Or just one at a time, Jakey?"

"Come on, Seonggie. I've seen you do it countless times, how hard could it be?" Jake says giving Jay a cheeky smile. Jay gave an awkward one back, knowing watching and doing something were two different ball games. But his Jakey looks so determined so he let him be. "Okay, we'll see"

"Oh god! The bacon! Is there a reason the pancake are so small?! Jakey! What happened?!" Jay asks coming back from the restroom. "I-I don't know. I just got tired of the bacon popping me and put it in the oven but... I forgot to put on a timer. And my bigger pancakes were so thin they felt like chips!"

Jay sorrowfully made his way the garbage to find several chip like pancakes on top, with a sigh, he turned back to Jake. He smiled to let Jake know it was okay "Okay, Jakey. It's okay, thank you for trying to-" "it's not okay! I ruined the food and now we don't have food to eat. I really tried but I can't-"

Jay grabs the younger's shoulders, gently, aware of his injuries. "Yes, you tried and you did well. At least you didn't burn the kitchen down, right?" Jake gives a slow nod "See? It's okay, we can eat something else. How about eggs and spam? It's just like how you cook it in ramyeon, that's it. You can do that?"

Jake nods again. "Yeah... I can make that" Jay nods with him. "Now, do you want me to help you or just sit here?" Jay asks calmly. "You can... just sit. I think I can do it. Just like ramyeon right?" Jay nods in reassurance. Afterwards Jake does succeed in making breakfast for Jay which makes him really happy.

"Is it good?! Do you like it?!" Jake asks. Jay replies, with a mouth full, two thumbs up and smile. "Good job, Jakey!" Jake giddily claps from Jay's praises.

"Jay... there's something I want to tell you" Jake blurts out, this surprises Jay but he puts his book down giving the younger his attention. "Okay, what is it?" Jake sat up in his bed, clearing his throat. He was very nervous, was he really doing this? Not directly, but it was still nerve racking.

"I... I have feelings for someone!"

It was a new day. But Sunghoon was at it again, bruises and all. This time he did reach the table first but he didn't want to share it. "Sunghoon, could we please share the table? We won't even bother you, there's plenty of spa-" Sunghoon cut Niki off. "Right. There's plenty of space so why do you guys want to sit here?!" He sneered.

"We're not trying to sit next to you! We just want to use the table but you're being immature about it by threatening my friends everywhere they sit!" Niki says frustratedly. "What's going on here?" Someone ask, it was Jungwon "Niki? What's wrong?" Sunghoon rolls his eyes, leaving the table.

"Well-" he began to turn to Sunghoon but he wasn't there "Well nothing now. Would you like to sit with me and my friends, Jungwon?" Niki asks with a smile. "Sure" Jungwon agreed, hoping it would take his mind off of Jake's absence from school today. "Guys, I got Jungwon to sit with us!" Jungwon chuckles at the younger's enthusiasm.

"Does Sunghoon always bother you guys?" Jungwon asks and Niki nods. "He wasn't always like that. He and I used to sit here at the beginning of my first year but then he started being mean when I brought my other friends around" Niki explains. "So he's only mean to your friends?" "Yeah I don't know why"

A few minutes before lunch ended, Jungwon had to leave so Niki and a few of his friends left too. "You really like this Senior Jungwon, don't you?" One friend asks. Niki nods with a bright red face "I was really surprised when he talked to me yesterday" just then Sunghoon walked by bumping into Niki's friend

"Watch where you're going asshole!" His friend shouted trying to keep himself upright. Sunghoon turned around. "What the fuck did you say to me?!" He says scaring the friend. "I-I" Niki butted in. "Leave him alone, Sunghoon" he turns to his friend "hurry and go to class, okay. Let me talk to him"

The friend almost tripped trying to get away from the older making Niki chuckle before turning to Sunghoon. "Why are you so mean to them? How can you even have all this attitude with those bruises? What happened to you?" Niki asks. "I told you already! I don't like your new friends!"

Sunghoon seethes "And why do you care?!" Niki rolls his eyes. "You know we used to be close. You need to go to the nurses office" Sunghoon's eyes soften at his words but harden again. "No! Are you trying to take me to the nurses office?!" Sunghoon says. Niki sighs, "Since I'm already late, let's go" Niki starts walking.

Sunghoon is stuck, not expecting that. Niki turns back to him "Or I can go to class" he starts walking.
